3 star hotel right smack at Huai Khwang junction. If you can get a Thai to book a room for you then it will be close to Watana Mansion's price.
Search for the BKK Hotels thread. A lot of info. on that old thread. I used to rent apartments in Ratchada 'ghetto' areas so didn't stay in hotels for a long time already. Pardon me if information is a bit rusty.
My accommodation expenses is only THB4500-5000 per month as I cheong full time in BKK for years. If you cheong BKK full time it's best to rent an apartment on a monthly basis to cut costs. You can also house your mistress/lover there. My cost cutting measures on daily expenses has allowed me to enjoy BKK's finest night entertainment, massage parlours, opening G-Club memberships, pubs, sian OL/students, lasup activities, etc. With correct budgeting your quality of living in BKK is actually better than Singapore with the same amount of money spent. This is what I call creating value out of the environment.
Let the Caucasian and Asian mongerers continue to pay ridiculous THB2000-2500 ST rates excluding barfine night after night. BKK is not just about Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy and Ratchada soapy MPs. To enjoy all round cheonging. I go from commercial to amateur and vice versa. Different levels of fun and difficulty levels. Cheers.

but if u go with prince holy and sifu playman to danok they will 100% take gd care of u. they won't let u eat pak gor. they got too much lobang to spare. but even they give u auntie u also must take if not u will pcc in room

the old wing is pretty spacious as well and some rooms even have a row of sofa tat can bunk in additional person, beides the carpet and the lack of bathtub, i find old wing is really good enuf esp. for cheongsters like us where we spend more time outside eating, shopping, massage, cheonging than in the room using the amendities, except for the bed when busy bonking the girl haha

i agree with nobleeagle...if it's not that big of a difference b/w old and new wing, then i'll opt for the cheaper. i don't have alot of opportunities to go to bkk, so my rare trips are usually for 2 weeks+. therefore, extra bht400+/night hotel savings goes to my cheonging account.

There is mattress but it is hard mattress. If u dun mind older room then u can try watana mansion near poseidon which is abt 700B per night. Decent room. This definitely u can save a lot for your bonk.
