Finished lunch at macdonald and we headed back to our office. The whole afternoon was normal. Work and work and I totally indulged into my work. No causal talk to May or thinking of fixing an evening appointment with June.

Time passed fast and it was already 6plus in the evening. Then, "dock dock..." Someone knocked on my partition. I raised my head and May was standing in front of my cubicle.


May: "Hi, time to knock off."
Me: "Oh yah....that's fast. Never know it's knock-off time already."

May: "So....hmmm...any plan?"
Me: "Urrr.....not yet. What about you?"

May: "Thought of going window-shopping at orchard. Wanna join me?"
Me: "Hmmm....ok....also thought of getting a few shirts."

May: "Well....are you done?"
Me: "Sort of...let me finished up a few of this documents and then call it a day ok."

May: "Ok....I will wait for you at my cubicle the. Look for me when you have packed up."
Me: "Sure. See you later."


Managed to finish up the last bid of work. I guess I must have took about more than half an hour to complete all those work. Packed up and walked over May’s cubicle.


Me: “Hi…I am done. Sorry to keep you waiting.”
May: “That’s ok. Shall we go for a dinner first then window-shop or otherwise?”

Me: “Hmmm…I am not hungry now. Maybe after we window-shop how about that?”
May: “I pretty fine with that.”

Me: “Ok…let’s go.”


So proceeded to the carpark. Hop-in and drive towards orchard Takashimaya. On the way casual talk about office politics etc. Reached taka at no time and just plain window shop. Went into a few female apparel boutiques with May and gave her a few piece of tips and suggestion on her selection of dresses. However I was kinda stuck at a situation when we were in a under-garment store. May actually ask me to choose for her! I was like…..


Me: “Urrrr……frankly speaking, I have no experience on this. I don’t think I can offer you any good suggestion.”
May: “You shy huh?”

Me: “Well can say that. Furthermore I don’t think it’s a good idea to ask me to choose for you. We are colleagues. Imaging we have to see one another everyday. Aren’t you afraid that I know what you are wearing on the day?”
May: “Chey. As if you have to strip and expose me?”

Me: “No lah. I just find it inappropriate lor. You are not my girlfriend or wife. If you are then I won’t mind.”
May: “Then I become your girlfriend then. You can officially choose for me, buy for me then.”

Me: “Urrrr….”

May: “Hahaha….don’t malu you lah.” You can wait for me outside if you want.”
Me: “Urrr…I am ok to wait inside. Maybe browse around, get to know more about the fashion lor.”

May: “You so funny. Ok see you.’


While waiting inside the shop, a few OLs came in. Wahl au…my nose almost bleed dried! Can’t imaging if I can changed for them, wear for them.! Hehehe…. Waited for about 15 minutes then finally May settle 2 sets of undergarments and a few thongs.


Me: “So settled?”
May: “Yape. Sorry leh…keep you waiting. So have you learn a few things about womens’ inner stuff?”

Me: “Perhaps. Wah ….you gotten yourself quite a few selection huh. You change and throw everyday like diapers huh?”May: “Aiyah….must get a few patterns and colours mah. So dull to wear the same thing over and over again.”

Me: “Oh…..now I know what colours and patterns in your wardrobe liao.”
May: “ Urrr… you want to keep as souvenir too?"

Me: “Please…I don’t have such fetish! Maybe you can sell online. Can make miney!”
May: “Orrrrh….how do you know all this?!”

Me: “It’s reported in the newspaper once lah please!!!”
May: “Who knows, maybe you are the buyers!”

Me: “I won’t spend my money on this ok. If I want, I just request or snatch from you lor!”
May: “Hehehe…don’t want....You horrible man!”

Me: “You are terrible woman!”
May: “Why I terrible huh?”

Me: “Ohhh…because you like to be butt-frosted! You buy so many thongs and G-strings!”
May: “Idiot you!”

Me: “Hahaha….”


So we continued window-shop. Went to G2000 for my office wear. Requested May to help me measure the broadness of the shirt across my back.


May: "This is the first time I am helping a man to measure the size."
Me: "So should I be hounoured or you?"

May: "Of course you should feel hounoured. I gave my first time to you leh."
Me: "Ohhh...Thank you so much."

May: "That's all you can say?"
Me: "Huu Urrr.....what else do you want?"

May: "Hmmm..show more sincerity can?"
Me: "Huh...what about I knee down to you?"

May: "If you want?"
Me: "Sigh......I flipped!"

May: "So I think these few shirts are ok for you. Colour and size fits you well."
Me: "I think so too. My fashion sense not bad right?"

May: "It's mine. I helped you choose ok."
Me: "Ok ok....you are the best."

May: "That's of course!"
Me: "Hey...I going to the dressing room to test fit."

May: "I go with you."
Me: "Don't want lah. You can wait outside. Once I am done, I will open the door and let you judge it. ok."

May: "Don't want. I want to see your body!"
Me: "Don't want lah...I am going to shout molest!"

May: "Please lah."
Me: "You crazy woman!"

May: "Hahaha...go lah...I am joking la." Ok I will wait for you at the changing room. Help you see."
Me: "Ok"


After much critques from May, I decided on 2 shirts and a pants. Left the shop and we settle at the food court at the basement area. Jokes and craps along with our chats.
