The trishaw is known as `xich lo'. Normally for short distances in other districts, cost is only around 5000VND to 8000 VND. But at Cho ben Thanh, its all calculated in USD. US$1 is considered cheap already, but i also think the salon is very very near. US$1 is only 16000 VND, so only double the normal price.
