been noticing THB has been dropping like a stone, wondering why?

I use wise and set up auto-convert, every day now I see money being converted into THB automatically.

The baht has been rising steadily past few weeks.... today is 26.10 at Toa Payoh Interchange which is surprising as downtown areas like PPC & Change Alley only offer 25.90 - 26.00.
Never expected suburb to offer better rates than town area.

But the exchange rates in the airport are lower than those in town even for same bank.
I prefer to change at the Super Rich branches at Petchaburi MRT or Phaya Thai BTS after arriving from the airport.

The SuperRich website has real-time rates for all the branches. But beware, some branches hv super long queuing time, the worst is the Rama 9 branch, kenna 80 minute wait there. These days, I just go to my nearby moneychanger in Singapore. If changing several thousand amount then they can usually match SuperRich rates. But if u got the rare One Thousand SG dollar note then maybe go to SuperRich.

I’ve been reading through these posts and I’m confused… I’ve alway exchanged sgd to thai at changi airport thinking I was getting a good rate… have I been getting screwed this whole time?? Where is the best place to exchange sgd to thai then?

Rates at airports are usually poor compared to moneychangers in town. People usually change a small amount of the local currency for travelling expenses to their hotel..... then change the bulk of their $$$ in town.
