The dire economic situation is real and hit every industry in singapore to some extent. The govt didnt announce it but there are retrenchments every single day these days. From where i am looking at this condition is either going to persevere or fets worse for a long while before it can get better. At least for the next 1-2 years plus. So everyone should try to save as much as possible for rainy days aint coming. It has already came. And always always lool for opportunities for in times of turmoil so will there be options to enrich one,s self.

yeah, I agree, good jobs are hard to come by. I define good jobs as in good colleagues. I don't care too much about pay because no point earning a lot but every day is stressed
