hope bro u don't mind i m using this space to do some sharing here...

to me, saving is one key element in cheonging, but there are something you should not save.
(and i keep these practice all the time i go dongguan)

for me, first, is the transport. me very kiasi one, most of the places i go, either from airport to hotel or even cronssing the town (like CP to CA), i always use the private driver. there r so many incidents that bros kenna trouble by using the public transport or taxi or those unfamiliar private driver, so, why risk yourself just because to save tens of RMB?

others, will share with you on the upcoming posting soon... but the key message here is, never compromise the safety just to because to save some small money.


Saving while cheonging
there are few things that you can save:

1. avoid staying at luxury hotel. to me, hotel room is just for sleep and bonk, as far as the room is comfortable and the bed quality is ok, safety not an issue, plus the location is good, i can go for lower class hotel. if u compare 3star hotel against the 5star in cp, that can save u at least rmb100-200 per day.

2. keep your drinking in the control budget. for me, i never go drinking according to the bill. china is not like spore, some bros feel that drinking according to the bill is transparent, BUT, there is no transparent in china! there are so many ways the bill can be manipulated (this has been discussed in the previous posting).
the bad thing on drinking according to the bill is sometimes the budget is uncontrollable, and if u are going with the heavy drinker, very likely your bill will be beyond your expectation. so whenever i go drinking, i will first set my budget and agree on the fix amount. which mean, no matter how much i drink, i will only pay for the agreed amount. the common practice in cp is, red wine 300, hard liquor 400. with this, you can estimate your budget very well.

3. foods. instead of having every meal in the nice restaurant, i also choose to have the meal at the semi-local restaurant. the environment is not that great, but ok to eat. the nice restaurant in cp 3 dishes will cost you around rmb100 (for 2 pax, if u r going with your MM only), but those semi-local one will cost you only around rmb50-70.
if u dont know how to go to these places, ask the MM, they should be able to tell u.
btw, i never go to very local one, that cost u rmb5-10 per meal.

4. don't give too much tips to MM. always remember that over tipping will spoil the market! ^_*
so we are doing this not only to save cost, but also to for the good for other bros.

5. don't order too many girls in the ktv. some bros like to have many girls in the room, but for me, i would have the max two. one reason is because when u have too many girls, u will lose the attention and focus. i would rather to spend more time with the girl, buil a bit of kam cheng, instead of having fun with many girls but u may not have time to take care and chat with them. also, each girl will cost u rmb200, the more u take, the higher cost is.

there are still other ways u can save cost, but to my opinion these are more obvious ones especially to newbies... the rest, u have to go intermediate class. ^_*

Yo bro, Dongguan is a city in china, and the city is formed by the towns. Dongguan city is having 32 towns, and changping is one of the town.

in short, changping is a subset of dongguan.

in the central of dongguan city (or guan-cheng), there is not much happening, over there are more business related way of cheonging.

for the personal leisure, u should go to other towns in dongguan like changping, chang'an and houjie. and of course, if u read the threads from sbf, most of the cheongster here are more focusing in changping.

the good thing about changping is there is a train station directly from shenzhen and guangzhou, traveling is convenient.
also, in term of cheong budget, dongguan town is much cheaper than shenzhen, and MM quality and quantity are quite ok.

which date u r going? me n few bros going on july 18 onwards.
