Hi Brothers,
I have been a silent reader for a very long time. After 2 yrs of planning, finally i am going to AC on 24th to 29th November 2015. Doing revision back by the thread again and have completed till page140. I have bought tickets from Tiger airways, having promo this time.

I have booked accomodation at 950 condotel, which currently on renovation. Hope once their renovation is completed,the rooms are comfortable to stay. As i always bear in mind that the safety is the top most priority, just wanted to ask few questions:
1. What is the amount of money in SGD and Pesos can be bring in to Clark?

2. Is it okay to stay in the same hotel for 5 nights or shall i hotel hop?

3. What is the taxi fare from the airport to the 950 condotel/checkpoint?

4. I'm planning to bring a very small portable speaker for my own usage, will the customs allow grant or demand to pay taxes?

5. Do i still need to pay the departure airport tax and how much if need so ?

I hope senior brothers could help me with this questions.

1) currency not more then $10000

2) yes

3)arrange with your hotel should be 400php not more then that

4) is ok

5) yes should be 600-650php, save this amount for air port tax you are save

hi guys, I am going to AC next Friday, 11 Sept. Anyone there can help me check if the money changer there still accept Ringgit Malaysia. The current slump in Ringgit has caused some money changer/merchant in oversea do not accept it.

Just want to make sure so that I can plan ahead whether to bring RM there or change Peso here. Thanks.

Bring max 5-6 thousand pesos ONLY. SGD u can bring up to SGD10k. When custom officer ask u...just say the truth. Money changers are everywhere...but try go to those few stated to reduce rare incidents of cheating.

One more thing to note though; you can legally only bring out no more than 10,000 pesos. This refers to the peso currency only and not other currencies.

If they happen to do a spot check and find you with more than 10k pesos, be prepared to be 'taxed' by the customs officer...

i departed from manila airport last week, the terminal fee was php 750.

last week i used ringgit to change and there was no issue, but i got pretty low rate, 10.7.

MANILA Used to be 550, and if you bought ticket after June no need to pay separately as included in air fare.

Last July I no need to pay tax at departure, just stamped that included in ticket.

Last month I left via Manila T3 to Bkk..Cebu Pacific. No airport tax.
