Unless your friend so lucky, the odds of getting HIV is as bad as winning the lottery ticket. So I find that is a bit unbelievable that you know someone. the chances of getting hiv is actually quite high. the statistics of 6kplus infected person vs 6 millions population is or course a small number. but once you break it down by risk group (sexually active individual, sex workers in sg), this number is very high.

Each wl/fl takes x clients per day. How many fuckers are there out there? That amount to is very conservative.

Now, having said that we multiple it by 7 days per week because not everyone cheongs. Thus, that amount is not small either.

I am NOT saying HIV/AIDS is not an issue. But I do have problems when someone says they know of someone who has it or classmate when they may not even know. I can give benefit of the doubt but seriously, how many TOTO winners do you know vs how many ppl u know have HIV/AIDS.

When you look at stats, you may say when u look at risk group....but you also need to count number of times they had sex which is often left out of the picture. So basically then can u come up with a chance of getting HIV/AIDS.

When I was still single, there was a FL I booked a few times already. One night I bumped into her in clark quay by chance. End of night, we ended at my place, did twice raw. so you are saying raw sex with fl is can say NOT so easy get HIV ? there are a few fl in lacanto offers raw sex. would you or would you NOT take the chances to fuck them raw?

then now, consider those who go to private clinics where they dont declare. again, consider those who dont know they have the virus. a safer ballpark figure might be double of the statistics.

so between 12 to at max 14k known and potential carriers.

Situation is about the same as in China. Official figures differ quite abit from the 'actual' figures according to my colleague. Official figures already quite high so you can imagine the real figures. Accordingly to official source, nearly half a million people in China are living with HIV as of August 2014.

Morale of story is definitely no raw with WL/FL or with strangers. Check bi-annually to be safe. Have a steady gf and quit fooling around is what I am trying to do

Not true, actually I think most of it is people had unprotected sex with strangers and think it is okay since the person is not a sex worker. So can also be straight or gay sex.
