Jamboree and Empress are still open. Of course all have to adhere to 1030pm closing, and you know the usual SOP now about drinking spots operating like bistros. Ipanema looks to be closed on ice. They were prepared to try out the pilot programme for nightclubs and bars earlier in the year till the government scrapped plans due to a spike in local community cases. Till now no news.

I would say OT may be better to see in the day than night nowadays. Night choices are same old and getting increasingly limited. Your mileage may vary depending on who's your regular there or if you have a regular type there.

Miss the good old days of Ipanema with all the FLs operating inside to get customers. Pricing was competitive, quality was a lot better, and mixing a nightclub atmosphere into the cruising and deal making was a very fun experience.

I consider myself to be quite a regular at OT but recently when I went at 8pm, it was disappointing.

Took a gal called Tan Tan, $50 entrance, then once in the room say need to top up this and that...ended up paying $150 for capped bj which i felt ripped off...

If you're regular you should know never pay for entrance. Just tell them straight what you want and the price you willing to pay. If no deal just walk away, that's regular.
