Care to elaborate? So do i change the VND b4 going there or change there?

You will need to change your dong there as there may not any money changer here who have dong for exchange. I have try finding one but so far no success

Dong is not an international currency.
You will not be able to get it outside of Vietnam.
Bring USD here and exchange it at money exchange (quite a number in Dist 1) or jewellery shops (everywhere).
You can do it in banks as well, but they would require much more documentations and filling up of forms....

One more thing...use up your dong or change it back to USD before u leave....or u can also give all your dong to me if u want....

The last time I was there, I use SGD for exchange as the difference is not really great. However I do have some USD in hand in case some massage joints especially in hotel insist on USD payment instead of dong.

now in HCM.... just came back from club gossip & 888... discos here close @ midnite... so now, my ba xa fren going to buy beer for us.. while we drink the nite away............

Hmmmm......there is 3 samster also at Club 888 at the same time as you if I dont remember the place wrongly. But left after the stupid lucky draw.........

Hi all, would be travelling to HCMC on the 22-26 of June with my Viet "GF" which I know in SG. There are certain things I ain't very sure about and would definitely need some advise.

1) I have gone through the thread and some says that Hotels in HCMC are strict about girls staying overnight, is there anyway I can get my GF to stay with me in the same hotel?

2) Which Hotel's do you reccomend?

3) Any SG'ers in HCMC wanting to meet up during this period? Seems like the big Brudder in this forum is dominated by SingViet. Dun worry would get rid of GF before coming out hehehehe.......

Would definitely appreciate some pms on your contacts in HCMC when I am there.
