A Hatyai Temple Story

This incident happened many years ago during the era when the night-club "Golden Million" was very popular. This story was about my friend friend and let just called him W. W was a odd-job painter. Due to the nature of his job, money was always very tight and not enough for him. One day he was very broke and desperate and asked our bros to lend him some money to make a trip to Hatyai to pray. We were all reluctant as we know he is the type who will never pay you back. So W went to borrow from loanshark $500 in order to make the trip there. Understand that he went to a temple called " hatyai nai " to pray. A few days after he came back, during our regular drinking sessions at this AMK coffee shop, W suddenly told us he had a dream that previous night. He told us that he dream of an old man who show him a chinese newspaper 4D results column. All the numbers were missing except the 2nd prize. When we heard that we all laughed at him and said that maybe it is the "bay peo kwee " that come and disturb him.

Come that following Saturday, we were all at the same coffee shop again. There was this little boy passing by the coffee shop shouting " ma piew poh ". W then called out to him: " Eh, ah tee, lai lai lai, chiok kaur jik a ". The little boy then said :" Waa...ma lai a sai. Ai kuar tio ai buay a mah ". W then said:" mien kia lar. Wa nasi tio, wa long chong kar le buay lo lai." The little boy probably sensing that it was a good deal then passed a copy of the newspaper to W. All of a sudden, W jumped up from his seat and shouted:" Waaaa......ho say leow, ho say leow, tio leow tio leow " It turned out that W had struck lottery and true enough it was exactly the same 2nd prize number the old man in his dream shown him. W had won $68,000 from a few private ones and that night as promised he also bought all the newspapers from the little boy and placed it outside the coffee shop and gave it away free to passerby. That night we had a celebration at the coffee shop immediately but we actually paid first as W did not have much money with him.

After that night celebration dinner, I did not see W again as he was only a friend friend. Heard from my friend that after W collected his winnings, he too also seldom contact my friend. But later we heard he had become a horse racing bookie. W also started cheonging nightclubs and always like to ON those Taiwanese & Hongkong singers. His favorite nightclub is " Golden Million " and he was very well-known there as he was a big tipper. In 2 months time, heresay his money has swelled to 200k and he continue to live a very lavish lifestyle.

But then into the 3rd month, his luck suddenly changed. He started losing. Even a very outsider horse also could come in. W losses began to increase every weekends and by the beginning of the 4th month, he lost everything and that include his 4D winnings, his thick jewelry on his body and also his expensive Rolex watch. W by now was back to square one.

In the end, I heard from my friend that W actually had make a vow when he went to pray in hatyai and did not fulfill it. What kind of vow, my friend was not so sure. So is it actually this unfulfill vow that W promised the God that landed him in such situation or is it just a coincidence???......your guess is as good as mine......end of story.......thanks for reading.

A Supernatural Story On Board A Ferry

This story happened about 11 years ago on board a ferry plying around the Riau Islands. The vessel certificate is expiring soon and she need to go for her annual docking but unfortunately the berth at the schedule shipyard was being held up by other ship so the vessel was temporary berth at another shipyard and it was at this place the supernatural incident happened.

On board this vessel there was a chief engineer and let just called him J. One night while sleeping in the vessel he had a dream. In his dream, he felt someone tickling his feet and he woke up. He then saw a lady in a white gown, long unkept hair staring at him. The lady then asked him if he need anything or there is anything she can help. J, who was an Indonesian, at that time was in urgent need of money as he was rebuilding his house in Indonesia. So he asked whether she could give him 4D number to buy for that weekend and promised to return favor if she need. J woke up from his dream and remembered the number clearly. He bought very big and strike more than $50,000 and thats was only 3rd prize.

After he collected his winnings and passed the money back to his wife, a few days later the lady in white appear in his dream again. She asked J whether he still remember his promise to her if she helped him. J confidently said yes but was shocked when he heard what she actually wanted in return. She actually told J that she was very lonely and asked J whether he can come and joined her to keep her company !!!!!! J woke up that night sweating and shivering and couldnt sleep the whole night. The next morning, he packed all his belongings and went to the office and asked to sign off from the vessel citing urgent family problems back in Indonesia. When all was done, he quickly board a ferry and left Sillypore. J thought he had escape for good.

What happened to J later was told to me by the second engineer of that same vessel and who also happened to be from the same kampong of J.

In his village, J was enjoying life with his sudden wealth. With the 4D prize money, J not only built a very beautiful house but he also bought many gold jewelry for his wife and gave the rest of his money to her for safekeeping. As sailing was his passion, he decided to go sailing again but only domestic ones as he wish to return home often. One day he returned home from one of his domestic trip to find his wife missing. Also missing were all the gold jewelry and bank savings. Upon probing, J then realized that his wife had run away with her lover and he was very heartbroken. Not long later J also lost his life at sea. His cargo ship sank during bad weather. Why does J life suddenly ended up like this ??? Izzit because of the broken promise he made at the vessel ??? We are only natural beings and they are supernatural beings......so no matter what better dun offend / owe them anything........end of story......thanks for reading.

Eskimo man & Texan man Joke

The scene is in a bar, 2 drunk men, a texas man & a eskimo man were still drinking furiously at the bar counter.

Eskimo man : We eskimo man are the most handsome and most courageous man on earth.
Texas man : Bullshit !!! What you eskimo man can do, we texas man can do even better !!!
Eskimo man : Oh..... Izzit ??? Then prove it by doing 3 things.
Texas man : No worries....... what izzit ???
Eskimo man : First....I want you to finished a whole bottle of whisky in 1 gulp.
Second.......I want you to go and killed a bear with your bare hands and lastly I want you to go and make love to our most ugliest eskimo lady.
Texas man : Hahahaha.......that is easy as abc.......give me the whisky now and I will show you what we texas man can do.

The Texas man then start gulping down the whisky. After finishing, he smashed the bottle at the counter, pushed the door open and went into the forest looking for a bear to kill. An hour later, he came staggered back into the bar. His clothes were all torn and tattered, blooding was streaming down his face. He walked towards the eskimo man, grabbed his shirt and said drunkardly : " Now where is the ugly eskimo lady which you want me to killed !!!!"

As usual for our kopi session we will mit up at 1 place 1st den c wan go where de ... so ytd we mit at pt A aft a cuppa kopi we follow bro D to take car to proceed to pt B ... as bro D waited for me n bro L on car b4 we reach pt A for tt cuppa of kopi ... so when we board da car aft da kopi bro D start his engine n went to da car boot to put things ... when bro D board da car bro L asked " bro D u so lihai ar ? Air con on full blast when u driving ..." so bro D replied " no ar ... I normally switch to num 1 onli ..." bro L " but ur air con is on full blast at num 4 lei ... I sumpa I nv turn da nob to disturb u ... " well for wat bro L said I can vouch for tt ... he really din touch anithing ... n rite aft bro D on engine da air con really come full blast ... bro D say he nv touch da nob n nv touch it by accident too ... for da whole journey in bro D car to n fro m on tio kia mode .. lol ... note its true of wat happened ...
