Bro botar how's life in HCM ?

I might want to go with my friends maybe in two or three weeks time go on friday and cum back on sunday , will contact you then .

Sound tempting (kinda worn out with HCMC scene, and need some changes). Usually, how you schedule ur trip to Nha Trang. Say, I make a trip on Friday nite and make it back to HCMC by Sunday ... will it be too rush? Tot of going out for the weekend getaways. How long is the journey (train or bus)? How much is hotel room rate for Lodge Hotel? Cheers.

Normally i will go on week day, play safe coz weekend too crowed..
Thursday night abt 9pm depart and reach there friday morning, and come back on Sunday evening..
Go by train, cost abt 180k vnd, if u have 4 person, u can buy a room ticket, 4 bed inside the room..250k vnd per person.

I never stay in Lodge hotel, around 70 - 100 USD
there are some local hotel along the beach, cost 20 - 30 USD, overnight visitor allowed.

P/S, are u working in HCM? maybe we arrange a trip to Nha Trang in furture..

Couple of ways you can get to Nha Trang,

Domestic Flight
Takes about 1 hours. However, the airport is like a 40min drive away from the city centre and the taxi fare is about VND200K - VND250K. If you want to try rally driving in VIETNAM, this is the place.

Train
A few services available.

The "state' run train service which you can but tickets from the station or tour agent or private run trains.

Private train abit better in terms of comfort and hence more expensive. I only know of one. The office is located along Pham Ngu Lau St. cant really remember the location. Must go home and dig it out becuase help friend book. Train ride is about 10 hours.

The good thing about train is you arrive directly in the city centre

Bus
THis one takes about 8 hours. numerous tour agents sell this package. normally will include ticket hotel and some sight seeing.

As for Lodge Hotel, disoc is located down stairs. Not bad, All the girls come with their handbags "FULLY EQUIP" if you know what I mean. but hotel not ger-friendly. rates are about USD60 -80. this was the last time I check about 9 months ago so may have increased. The reason I didint stay there is because not ger-friendly.

If you do go, you must go to SAILING CLUB. damm happenin!!!!!!

Dun waste ($) travelling to HCMC lah ...there are better countries in this region that is better than Vietnam.

I dont travel to HCMC. I am based here because of my work. Unless you can offer me a job that pays this well. leave your dumb ass assumptions to yourself.

Nothing much has changed..all pretty much the same...although I did hear that in District 7 there is a massage place that provides more than HJ..personally I dont know...massage is not my thing
