While the risks of catching an STD from a Geylang WL is low, there are things out there that cannot be cured. AIDS is one, but so is herpes. You can also get genital warts, NGU or gonnerhea, syphillis and a whole lot of other shit. While a condom provides some protection, can you imagine getting herpes at your ass from AR? Sometimes the risks outweighs the pleasure. We all proceed at our own risks.

I suppose it all depends on what stage in your life you are at. When young and wild, or retired and free, it may be of little consequence what happens to you. But when you have kids that are still young, I am sure you want to be around to see them grow up and God forbid you would never want to pass anything to them.

Bottom line, going to Geylang is like going to the Casino, know the risks before you go.
