E: Hey, I got a spare card to the lift, I pass to you incase you want to visit Janice. Here.

?!?!? With this I can access his place and see Janice any time. He TRUSTS me with this? Does he have any IDEA what he is doing? He trusts me that much?

We went back to the apartment, he went to the Study Room (refer to floor plan) to work and I took care of Janice passing her the food and then tuck her to bed.



E: Hey gog, come over here.

I walked out towards the living room. Eric was seated by the sofa, I saw 2 cups (you people DON'T START...) and Black Label on the coffee table.




E: Hey gog, thanks for taking care of Janice, I'm always so busy, thankfully you are a good friend of hers sia, if not I also dunno how. You drink? Whisky? Come, let's have a glass.

gog: Wow. Thanks man, don't fret on the small matter la, I just do what I can as a friend, as long as you don't misunderstand can liao, I scared you think we have something going on.

E: Rubbish la, I trust you bro, I also trust my wife, she won't do anything she's not supposed to. You also a nice person, I don't think you will anyhow also lor.

Eric poured a glass of whiskey and passed to me. I took it and drank.





E: In fact I should thank you for being a friend to us both. You are a nice person, godsent.

gog: We can do what to help we do la. I don't claim to be the best. As long as you are comfortable us being good friends la.

E: Aiyoh, ok one la, she got show me her phone and always tell me how funny you are. Want to do anything also no need wait until now. I am a good judge of character.

We spoke and talked for a few hours finishing almost half a bottle of black. I left the car as suggested by Eric as he strongly disagrees that I should drive. I also didn't want Janice to worry so I took a cab home instead. It felt good to be trusted, to be a friend to others. I was glad I am. Eric is a nice person but just not too caring enough towards Janice, I find. Just my gut feel.




The next day.

I went back to Janice's condo to pick up my car. I brought along 2 chicken meat buns and teh-o. Patients shouldn't drink anything sweet. Teh-o seemed logical. The guard asked where's my car, how come I'm not driving today. Really sweat. I'm 'blacklisted' liao.

Using the card Eric passed me, I breathed deep and tested it. *BEEP* The lobby door was unlocked and the lift started to come down to basement automatically. In my mind a thousand scenarios were flashing, should I just ring the door bell hang the food there and leave, or should I unlock and go in directly. Would Janice freak out or she would not be properly dressed. Sweat sia.

Decided to do the right thing. I knocked hard on her main door and announced that I'm coming. She was in the kitchen making coffee when she got startled by my hard knocking. I paused for like 5s then I heard her approaching the door. *BEEP* She unlocked it from inside.



J(anice): Hi gog, your access card not working? I'll tell Eric.

WTFFFFFFFFF She knows and have no objections to me holding it? Wah lao... what has the world come to!?!



gog: Huh no la, I thought you didn't know I have an access card and I don't want to drop in without warning, not nice ma.

J: No la.. it's alright, can always drop me a message ma.

gog: I came to pick up my car and brought you breakfast, didn't occur to me to ping you la.

J: Yay! Got breakfast!

With that, she totally ignored everything else I said earlier and overthought. She's too cute. Sigh. I left for work thereafter. She's still my boss, in case you folks forgot, I can't possibly MIA from work.
