Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
HI there fellow mongers,
i'm a member of asianescapades.com (AE) and have obtained permission from the admin to post useful info. Please let me have feedback so that I will know. Chapter IX How to get a Successful Barfine Ok let’s face it, there is no guaranteed method of ensuring that every bar fine you get will be fantastic and will rock your world. By definition, there will always be an element of chance involved in the bar fine process, however there are a few simple steps you can follow to increase your chances of a successful bar fine. The purpose of this article is merely to highlight the various steps which in my experience I have found helpful when bar fining. 1: Know what you want. The bar fining process is not an exact science and nor should it be. There will always be an element of chance however one good way of increasing your chances of a successful bar fine is to know exactly what you want. Define in your mind what YOU are looking for and the type of girl you are looking for. Step 1: Ask yourself what am I looking for? Define in your own mind whether YOU are looking for a relationship and love or are you looking for short term physical satisfaction. This decision will influence the type of girl you choose. Step 2: Loosely define in your mind the physical and personality attributes you are looking for tall, short, chubby, skinny, small breasts, big breasts, vivacious and bubbly, serious and sensuous, innocent and fresh or older and experienced. In the Philippines there is someone for everyone and that is why we come here. Setting oneself guidelines may be a bit restricting and takes away from the spontaneity of bar fining however, in my experience I have found it often makes the selection process easier and avoids disappointments later on. 2: Do your homework and qualify the girl. If you have certain expectations from the girl you bar fine then I find it best to let these expectations be known prior to bar-fining her. For example if you want long time make sure she is agreeable to that, if you don’t want to wear a condom tell her, if you expect oral sex discuss this with the girl. Do your homework with the girl prior to bar fining her and avoid disappointment. The so called qualifying process is a delicate subject so approach it gently and do not push your point. Just ask the questions in a causal and if possible humorous, off hand way. Do not appear too serious and remember to pose the questions in a non confrontational way. Most bar girls do not view themselves as engaging in prostitution but rather as dancers just trying to make a few extra peso. 3: Get to know the Mamasan. In most bars for better or worse the mamasans exert a lot of power especially when it comes to their girls, as such it makes sense to befriend them or at least make an effort to get to know them. Getting a mamasan on your side is a simple matter of visiting a few times and buying her a drink or two. Once she is on side you will have a valuable alii in the seemingly endless search for the perfect bar fine. Some customers prefer to stay under the radar and don’t want to involve the mamasan. Customers with this attitude believe the mamasan only has her own best interests at heart and will try to push a girl to go with you simply to get her commission from the bar-fine Whilst there is some validity to this line of thought it is by no means an absolute fact. In my experience I have found the mamasan to be a useful alii and she can help smooth over any bumps and hiccups which may occur. Talk to the manager Most managers know the girls in their own bar and will have heard reports as to their nature and performance. The extent of the managers knowledge and his willingness to divulge this knowledge will vary from bar to bar but as a general rule I find it quite handy to know the manager and I have no hesitation in asking him what a particular girl is like. Spend some money Always remember why the girls are working in the bar. In the vast majority of cases they are there to earn money since opportunities to earn decent money do not exist for them in other areas of employment. As such do not be afraid to splash a little money around. If you are interested in a particular girl buy her a ladies drink or two and do not be afraid to show her you have some money and are willing to spend it if treated right. I am not advocating you should throw money around meaninglessly since the Filipinas do not really respect this, just buy a few drinks for the people you are interested in and spend some time getting to know them. A small amount goes a long way in the Philippines. Personality Just as you are judging the girls personality she is making her own appraisal of yours. If you are interested in a particular girl show her that you can be gentle, considerate and even a little romantic. On occasion appeal to the girls sense of humor with a little joke and always remember to smile and not take the bar fining process too seriously. As a general rule try to appear happy, friendly and carefree, the girls will always relate to this. Sense of humor In my experience I have found appealing to a girl’s sense of humor goes a long way. I have seen old, small tipping men, pull the most stunning Filipinas simply because the girl liked their sense of humor. Filipina bar girls have enough problems of their own without having to know about yours. In the majority of cases Filipinas live for the moment and do not dwell on life’s little problems, as such they are naturally attracted to a man who is happy and smiling with the ability to make them laugh and smile. Appearance The Filipinas tend to operate on a superficial level and as the old saying goes they will “judge a book by its cover”. As such pay attention to your appearance. Keep your nails clean, brush your teeth and wear deodorant. When it comes to clothing just wear something clean and casual, the Filipinas are not impressed by designer suit and ties in fact quite the opposite. In the bar surroundings a suite and tie merely looks out of place. Understanding Just because the girls can speak English do not assume they can really understand you. Often a Filipina will appear to understand you but have very little comprehension of what you mean. A smattering of Tagalog and a basic understanding of the idiosyncracies in Filipino culture will go a long way. Always speak slowly and clearly when communicating with a bar girl and do not assume the things you consider important will also be important to her. For example I have seen many guys take their chosen girl out to dinner at a nice restaurant only to complain later that she did not seem to appreciate it. Indeed in the majority of cases the girls will not appreciate food they are not used to and are in fact more comfortable with fish and rice. Image In most cases the Filipina bar girl appears sweet innocent and simplistic but as the saying goes ‘looks can be deceiving’ and the majority of girls are far from sweet innocent little angels. In fact quite the opposite is true the average Filipina bar girl has a very short learning curve and they develop ‘street smart’ instincts at a rapid pace. This is not necessarily a bad thing but as customers the foreigners should be aware of what they are dealing with. Secondly despite the ‘street smarts’ I have found the average Filipina bar girl extremely pleasant company and easier to deal with than women from other countries Use the big head for thinking and the small head for dancing. The bottom line when dealing with a Filipina girl working the bar, ‘it is what it is’ and no matter what you may feel remember the old truism ‘use the big head for thinking and the small head for dancing’. Over the years I have seen many men make the mistake of falling in love with the first girl they bar fine and 99.9% of the time this proves to be a big mistake. It is easy to confuse love and lust in the Philippines and the best defense against this is to let the big head do the thinking and the small head the dancing. A second defense is to meet as many girls as you possibly can this way you always have a point of comparison. There are a multitude of girls in the Philippines all of them just waiting to meet you. The recommendations made in this report reflect my views drawn from personal experiences and observations. Everybody is different and of course my recommendations may not be appropriate for everyone but it is my sincere hope that people who read this will be able to adopt some of the recommendations and in so doing enjoy many successful bar fines. In this article I have merely touched on some fairly comprehensive issues such as confusing love and lust and Filipina expectations however, I will do a more in-depth analysis of issues such as this in my follow up article, how to get the most out of your relationship with a Filipina. This is taken from The AC Survival Guide from asianescapades.com It's a bit long but meant for the good of newbies going to ac. regards sunmoon |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
WOW..! thanks Bro sunmoon. I just reaslised that getting a nice SYT in AC is not going to be easy and being a newbie going to AC (after CNY) would need to be trained..!
All the while I thought girls in AC is just like Thailand, perticularly Hatyai. Just see what you like, and thats what you get. Straight forward and no hidden agenda. Now I see that girls in AC is far different from other places in the world. I better start "digging" for more info and tips on how to get SYTs in AC. My only concern is that we may not have enough time as I am only there for 3 days 2 nights and spending the other 3 days 2 nights in Manila. This is a very nice thread to follow and I have learned many things from all the senior Bros. Please keep sharing with me and all other newbies and we shall be in a better position to "hunt" and not being sucked by the SYT in AC. Selamat Po....! |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Taken from asianescapades.com
Chapter XXVIII Do 's and Don'ts in the Philippines Don’t fall in love 95% of the time your girl is not different… Do use protection for your own safety unless you enjoy gambling with your health. Don’t grab a girl in a bar that is wearing street cloths even if you have seen her working there, some guys get very jealous if it’s just a first time B/F Do take a trike from any remote location when ever available, avoid walking especially at night. Don’t keep a girl longer than 3 days in a row as they become attached very quickly and the drama will soon follow. Do use your room safe it is there to protect your valuables which are often at risk when left out in the open here. Also read the instructions on the safe before use. Don’t get stuck with a girl you Don’t like just leave her (your vacation is to short). Do try and make the girls around you comfortable and relaxed because once they feel comfortable with you they will often open up to you far more. Don’t over tip as it will simply increase their expectations. Though Don’t under tip or not tip at all as this can result in a whole different array of troubles. Do make the effort to learn some of the “bar-talk” which ranges from popular tagalog words and phrases to distorted English-tagalog sayings. This can help in making a connection with the girls and sometimes improving communication for all types of service. Don’t get completely drunk this is a perfect recipe for trouble. If you Do just go back to your room and sleep it off. Do listen to the expats who have been around a long time, they probably know a lot more than you and often have already lived through many of the circumstances you are experiencing so listen to their advice but also try to get multiple opinions. Don’t give the beggars a single centavo, all you are doing is encouraging them. This only creates more beggars who plague the streets. Do be cautious of who you have take you to the ATM or money changers try to have a “trusted” trike driver or the hotel driver take you there. When possible during a money run go with a friend. Don’t believe everything the girls tell you they are there to make money and Filipinos are notoriously good liars. Do bring fresh cash from your home country older even slightly damaged notes are often not accepted. Don’t over pack just about anything you could need can be purchased at the mall often far cheaper then back in your country. Do buy mamasans/papasans/managers/owner a drink in the bars you frequent most as this can often be rewarded many fold. Don’t simply treat the girls as “whores” this is not how they see themselves and doing so will only lead to either trouble or poor performance. Do be respectful to all the girls you meet in public as not all are bargirls and Filipinos are extremely devout Roman Catholics which if you are not carful can result in very unfortunate situation. Don’t get caught up over small things and drama it is your holiday and time is short if you have to much trouble with one girl or a bar simply move onto the next an ensure you make the most out of your trip. Do thoroughly determine the deal before an EWR (barfine) for example is she a virgin, does she have menstruation, does she Do BJ, her opinion of protection and anything else out of the ordinary you may desire. Don’t carry your visa-card (recommended you bring 2 anyway) or large amounts of cash on you, put them away in your safe and remove only as needed. Do bring extra emergency cash when you go out just keep it in the back of your wallet and Don’t be tempted to spend it if you need more cash just go back to your hotel and get more. Don’t get into a fight with a Filipino rarely will you only be fighting one and Filipinos are renowned for their fiery temper and will have no hesitation in using a weapon when in a fight. Do eat and drink healthy during the day as you need to keep your strength up for all the long nights and your body strong to fight off the variety of potential illness that can be acquired. Additionally multivitamins are always helpful. Make sure to have all your vaccinations before your trip. Don’t bother trying to apply the standards, moralities and culture from your home country as quite often they are completely different here. Do leave any troubles at home, Angeles City is a whole new world to enjoy. Don’t forget the concept of face, always be respectfully and never try to embarrass a Filipino as this can result in violence in an attempt to regain face. Do try to avoid beggars, freelancers and Filipino males all they want is your money and can often get you into a lot of trouble. Don’t play cards with Filipino men it is usually a scam you will not win, it is simply designed to get your money and it is extremely dangerous. Do pay attention to your environment and what’s going on around you. With the presence of young women cheap booze and seeming lack of rules it is easy to not pay attention to what is going on around you. On the public transportation such as jeepneys and buses there will often be pick pockets and snatchers as there will be in the malls. Don’t purchase sexual enhancement drugs from street vendors this has been known to be a setup it is recommended that you have a Filipina purchase them for you. Do remember Filipinos see you as walking ATM’s. No matter who you are as a foreigner the Filipinos believe you have money and you are going to spend it. What’s more it is their job to help you spend it preferably with them. This is referred to as the walking ATM mentality. Don’t purchase your prescription drugs from an unrecognized Filipino but rather always use a recognized pharmacy such as Manson drugs or Mercury drugs. Do have some sort of general plan for your trip however Don’t over plan as things change once you arrive, just go with the flow to a large degree. Don’t discuss certain subjects such as politics, religion and family with Filipino men because when discussing these subjects they will often let their emotions rule rather than logic and common sense. Do try to move around to other bars. Very often guys get stuck in one bar and miss much of the variety of fun that can be had. Don’t buy a bar this will most often only end in costing you exorbitant amounts of money. Just come here, have fun and then leave. Do read up on as much information as you can on the internet as it will prepare you better for any potential bad situation. Don’t be overly concerned with wearing expensive cloths and jelewry as the girls can rarely tell the difference. Do maintain a high level of hygiene the girls are very sensitive to bad smell and other general poor cleanliness. Don’t hesitate to check out a variety of hotels most in both AC and Subic are at least nice enough and you may find a different hotel either more affordable or comfortable for next time. Do be happy, always respect everyone, always smile, be polite and you will have a great trip. Don’t plan your entire trip in advance as it is completely pointless the second you step into your first bar all your plans will be forgotten. regards |
