Reason is simple... if you dont go there to spend your money how can they have money to reinvest to better serve each and everyone of us..

The main reason for its decline is due to change in government plans for AC.. Most of the old bars closed due to their own complacency.. girls running away after 1 round has been the norm for so many years.. some of the older hotels are so run down that's why their business decline customers choose to go to newer hotels.. why would u pay a good price to stay in a run down hotel when new hotels offer same price better facilities.. correct me if i m wrong..

I respectfully disagree with this statement - your spending doesn't go into reinvestments/improvements, just their pockets -since when have you ever see AC gov't or Bar owners re-invest to make AC a better place? I can't even take 2 steps on the famous walking street without stepping into a pothole. The government won't even fix the crumbling street despite the loads of tourists and revenue the Bars make. The bar owners won't even instill policies to ensure customer satisfaction (like preventing 'runner girls' which is common now), probably because they can make more $$ by double barfine a girl same night. How many bars are there, and not even one has a reputation of providing 'guai' girls that aren't runners! How many Bar owners have retained prettier girls instead of letting them goto Manila where they can make more money? I"m not against anyone wanna go there and have fun, but the fantasy of it being a beautiful wonderland full of hot attractive girls just isn't true anymore, these days have long gone.

AC is a sinking ship, and thats why you see the increasing prices to try compensate for losses (short-sighted economics). Why you think all the old Ang Mo bar owners have sold their bars if so profitable? Despite recent Korean investments and clientele, infrastructure is still crappy, there is no reliable trike/taxi service, nighttime safety/robbery is still an issue, scams targeting tourists (using corrupt Police even) are still rampant, and 'runners' are the norm now not the exception. Your spending goes directly into pockets of the greedy tyrants who run AC, and not to its long-term improvements with an eye to customer satisfaction.

I don’t understand why clone of someone I know said I invest Devera hotel? Not a bad thing that I invest.

I like Devera hotel and they give me 10% discount I will still stay there when I’m in ac.

I am not smart.. i m just stating facts.. if u look at devera hotel.. i know they have added another floor quite recently after 10years of operation.. the money dont come entirely from the investors of the hotel, some of the money comes from our regular brothers patronage..

As for walking street, I cannot confirm but i spoke to a bar owner before and he told me that the street maintenace money comes from all the bars, hotels and restuarants operating there so why is the conditions so bad now?? I think most of u brothers should know the main reason to this question... CORRUPTION!!!

Ditto! WS maintence and resurfacing funds must be provided by business owners, government will not even spend one peso on the project! Therefore, be very careful when walking on the street especially when you're drunk!
Also, be wary about glue sniffing local teenage boys, make sure they're arms length from you, never closer!
Final note, during my last trip, I saw so many freelancers cruising in WS, just make sure they're not underaged and has an official I.D.

Mr. Vincent..... you are not the only friend that Albert has in the PI. You are not his keeper nor own the copyright to his persona. If I am not wrong.... you only came to know Z during the last few years of his life when he met you in AC. Just because he babysit you and showed you the newbie Datou how to navigate and live around AC and some parts of the PI does not make you his keeper.
I knew him more than 10 years before you came into the picture. At that time he was undergoing an acrimonous divorce. And when he got into trouble in AC..... do you know who provided the funds to bail him out? So you got no right to tell me to shut up coz I knew him much better than you did.
