Bros, take heart.. I used to share during gathering that, there's karma.. there would be God's eyes looking & knowing the person's heart. Whatever one does with an evil/bad intention, the repercussion will comes back to that person.

Unfortunately ICA have the right to conduct these interviews & tests, when I was very active in Batam almost 20 years back me & a couple of my male colleagues (they are also Sinkaporeans) also kena the urine tests quite a number of time even tho we travel there frequently for work every week.

Nowadays the money on them is not really a determining issue anymore as this is something almost everybody can achieve as long as they have the cash, it does not translate to them spending it into Sinkie economy.

Most of the ICA officers are trained & instructed to look for certain traits, e.g. 1st timers, very frequent travellers, no hotel confirmation booking, certain nationalities whom WL are known to belong to (yup I know its discrimination), behavioural traits (e.g. nervousness)....etc

What you should have done was to write a letter of "Feedback" to the Straits Times to enquire on how they can improve on their so-called screening process in order not to humiliate the bona-fide tourists like your baxa ^_^

Hopefully I do not have these same problems (touch wood >_<) but I will definitely pursue it to the highest level possible if they should give me problems, I know my rights as a Sinkie under the constitution....
