The managerial front is not so bad, besides Hodgson there are a few other names being bandied about now, and perhaps more when the WC is over. |

Mascherano will be playing for Inter Milan after the WC. It has been done deal he has been sold for 25 million pounds. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
A rumour is still a rumour so let's not bandy them about like they are facts.
But I won't be unhappy with Mascher going, he has been wanting to go now, his family is unsettled in England, and performances wise, there have been the good and the bad. At times, he has been a monster in midfield, but his dives and his yellows and reds have also hurt us. If we are getting 25m from him, we should be able to get someone better. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I doubt that it's such a low price. Given how Argentina is performing in the world cup now, they stand a high chance of actually winning it. 25 million pounds for a world cup winning captain? That's a Great Singapore Sale already. Besides, the 2 yankees really owe a lot of money. Unlikely they will sell Mascherano for less than market price.

The official announcement will probably made after the WC. 25 million pounds is still a profit of 8 million for the Yanks. |

we should squeeze more out of the deal... he's 1 of the best if not the best def mid and he's the captain of argentina team... but even we sell him for 50 mil, i wonder how much of it will go to transfer kitty... likely tat the 2 yankees will pocket the $$...

Roy it is!
Liverpool appoint Hodgson 1st Jul 2010 - Latest News Roy Hodgson has been appointed the new manager of Liverpool FC. The 62-year-old former Fulham, Inter Milan and Switzerland manager has agreed terms with the club on a three-year contract and becomes the 18th manager in our history. He will be unveiled to the world's media this afternoon after overseeing the first day of pre-season training at Melwood. Hodgson joins us from Fulham, where he guided the Cottagers to the Europa League final in May and was voted Manager of the Year by the League Managers' Association. He exclusively told Liverpoolfc.tv: "This is the biggest job in club football and I'm honoured to be taking on the role of manager of Britain's most successful football club. I look forward to meeting the players and the supporters and getting down to work at Melwood." http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/lates...ppoint-hodgson |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
disappointed...
not doubt, he's a good manager and having an excellent track record with average club, showing tat he can bring out the best of a team of average players to become a GOOD team... but we're LIVERPOOL... we need a manager who can bring the best out of our world class players, we need a manager who can make us the BEST team, not just a good team... i rather we appoint a young manager, thou may not have long track record, but may bring something new to the team, a.k.a. guardiola @ barce, mancini @ inter, rijkaard @ barce etc... nevertheless, since roy hodgson is already appointed our manager, he'll have my backing, but pls dun bring any fulham players with u... hope tat i'll have to eat my word in 10 months time... so now, we've found our new manager... hope to see our new OWNER soon..!!! ~YNWA~
