I agree with you bro .. I never tip more than 20 peso, even if they call me kuripot .. you tip a 100 peso, then suddenly about 100 people follow you expecting 100 peso each .. damn, that is enough money to barfine a girl ..

I remember the time in Peurto Galera, the porter carrying my bag - actually I want to carry, he insist on carrying, then asked me for 'christmas money', I gave 20, and he had a dirty look and said - not enough, I said the ticket fare include assistance, and if you don't want, give back, and I took back the money, and passed to the boat man .. you must have seen the look on the porter's face, and the smile on the boat man's face .. The porter came back to me and I just turned the other side ..

Also I made a note to myself to make sure my bags are a bit smaller so I don't give in to the porters who insist on carrying my bags ..

PS: I been called kuripot by a kid outside my hotel, for dropping 2 X 5 peso, but, I am wise to not to react to the kiddo .... Maybe that was nice for him, as anything more he would have spread the news to get all his buddies to chase me for a handout ..

It works same way, other side. Do not give a tip, others do not bother you.

Bro i stayed in Royal amsterdam in a jacuzzi room(3k pesos a nite) but they do have deluxe room where its much cheaper.do check their site bro

.Royal amsterdam is located at clark avenue,balibago-angles city,clark,pampanga-abt 15 minutes drive from the clark airport.this hotel is in the centre of the whole scene bro.its 24hrs restraunt has all the best food,very nice accomodating staffs,security and hotel drivers are very friendly and u can chit chat and get all the best lobang and tips from them.

the hotel also has a pickup and send off transfer from hotel where its just 300pesos.can u imagine living in a place where the whole scene starts???

everyhting is wihtin walking distance from the hotel:money changer,sallons,shops.7 eleven.mc donalds.atm machine.bars and lotza lotza girls...guess my info helps bro..

Thanks for the very useful mongering info guys. Considering to go AC later this month. Just a few questions. What things are there to do (other than mongering) in the day? And what is a cheap and/or reliable way to get to AC from Manila? Thanks.

When you get to AC you wouldn't want to do anything else other than boozing bonking more boozing and more bonking. I never had time to do anything else.

The earliest bar in perimeter opens about 12pm.
So u can start barhopping early after ur lunch.

Else u can always head to the SM Mall which opens at 10am.
Catch a movie or play at the arcade.
Or try ur luck at playing the Bingo.

If u have a girl to show u around, get her to bring u to Nepo Mall or Nepo Mart.
U can get cheaper clothes and cheaper local delicacies.

Rent a bike and explore the Clark Airbase.
Try ur skills on the go kart track opposite the airport.
Or shop at the Duty Free shops in the base.
Bring ur swimwear and splash it out at Fontana Water Park.

If u have extra money to burn, try Poker at Wild Orchid Poker room.
Or slots at Golden Nile.
Or hit the tables at Casino Filipino on Macarthur Highway.

U can get cheap dental works done.
Manicure and Pedicure is cheap as dirt too.
How about a massage ? With and without happy endings.

Cheap and reliable dont mix .. for me, either take bus from Pasay White Rabbit terminal in Manila to Dau, for 160 peso I think (it was two years ago .. ) or if I am in the mood to spend, 600 peso for Swagman fly the bus .. Manila Hotels: The Swagman Hotel Manila & Travel Service Philippines - The Australia Hotel

Swagman also does package transfer to Peurto Galera ..

As for things to do, Bro Ah Hia has described most of the things to do ..
