Caesar Hotel is a grungy looking building located next to An Duong Vuong Plaza in District 5. It's on the 4th floor of the hotel which requires you to take the lift up. Place was dead on a Sunday night. When I went up and walked into the Spa, there were girls sitting around doing nothing. The place looked creepy and there was old furniture all over the place. It was even grungier on the inside compared to what the hotel looks like on the outside. I don't get what you mean by 'nice'. Was it an illusion or am I really missing something here? |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
eeeeeerrrrr.....
The place is called Face. The old name was called Ozone. It located on the same property as Saigon Pho. 125 Tran Quoc Thao D3. The place starts getting really crowded at about 12am. It stays open till 3am. After all the other places close, the rest come here to continue. Because it is crowded, service is terrible. Confirm there are PRs here but I think like there are only a handful. Most of the gers here are customers and are abit on the "matured" side. Saw some good looking ones but thats about it. 1 thing that really bothered me was, there was like 10% left in the bottle but they said cannot keep liao, must finish. well.... Oh yeah, the place at Superbowl near the airport also has a new discon that is operated by the same management. |

HCMC property prices rise
================= After a slight slump, Ho Chi Minh City’s real estate market posted an improvement, with transactions and prices both increasing over the first two weeks of this month. According to Sai Gon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company, there were 125 successful transactions recorded at the company’s exchanges, many of them involving apartments in the city. Some real estate brokerage companies in District 2 said the number of transactions in the first two weeks of this month increased by 10 percent compared to the same period last month. A real estate expert said the property prices were pushed up by several successful transactions. The prices of apartments and land on District 2’s main roads rose by VND1 million to VND2.5 million (US$60-$150) per square meter. Land on Tran Nao and Luong Dinh Cua streets, for example, are now priced VND60 million to VND80 million ($3,600-$4,800) per square meter. The price of apartments in District 4 also rose over the past two weeks. Flats in Van Do Building now cost more than VND20 million ($1,200) per square meter while apartments in the H3 Building on Hoang Dieu Street sold at VND28 million to VND30 million ($1,680-$1,800) per square meter. As these apartment buildings are located near the city center, sellers decided to raise the prices, some real estate centers said. The backer of the Phu My Building project in District 7 is advertising apartments at VND19 million to VND21 million ($1,140-$1,260) per square meter, a sharp rise compared to last month’s price of VND15 million to VND16 million ($902-$962) per square meter. Experts said the demand for real estate was still high but customers were being very careful, searching for a quality apartment at a good price. Many customers are also waiting to buy real estate from investors who need money to clear bank loans, experts said. Source: Thanh Nien, Tuoi Tre
