After school, I left the girls voicemails asking them to meet in front of the food court at J8. And when I arrived, No one else has reached. I stood by the glass panel and waited as I look down at the students that were like us, the group of us before all these happened, I did not understand why but I start recalling Sonia and Penny as well. It seem it was so long, but in fact it just happened in a short frame of time.

Felicia tapped me on the back and I turned around.

Felicia: Eh idiot bio zharbor (looking at girls) ah.

Me: Yah lor, never see behind me got chio bu mah

Felicia: Really meh, I thought u like Toa liap.(big boobs)

At that moment, Jasmine and Ann appears walking towards us. We went to the food court and the girls went to order their lunch, As I sat and watched over their bags.

A while later, they returned.

Jasmine pass me a bowl beef noodles: For you to eat, I bought wrongly.

Me: Really meh? How come look the same one?

Jasmine: it's different, just eat.

I could see the other girls giggling as I ate the noodles and I knew there was no difference in the noodle we both liked.

We went walking around and loitering in J8 after the meal, it was then a familiar figure appeared walking pass us. We all stopped and looked on as she waved to us, it was Pris and she had now joined a new group of friends from her school. One of the girls gave us a snorbbish look and said Hi to Jasmine, Jasmine went up and spoke to her. Although they we chatting but I could sense they ain't really friends, Jasmine came back and pulled me walking away from them as Felicia and Jasmine followed.

I was sort of happy for her to have met new friends, that was until a remark that Jasmine made: Pris and Stephanie will make a good pair.

I did not understand, and it seem that there was some bad blood between Jasmine and Stephanie. Jasmine's behaviour changed after meeting Stephanie and I could see Jasmine talking to Felicia, after Felicia asked her who Stephanie was and why was she so upset.

Being me, I was curious and I went up trying to join in their conversation. Jasmine saw me coming and shot a look at Felicia, they change the topic to the displays at the shops.

Me: Wah I come only change topic.

Jasmine: Did we?

Felicia: Yah Lor , why you so sensitive?

Me: Eh Jasmine, Pris Friend you also know ah?

Jasmine: NO! I don't know her.

Ann pulled me and shook her head, I got her hint and stop asking about the matter.

Then mood was tense after that and soon Felicia needed to go back as her mum was not working that evening, we walked her to the bus terminal and waited for her bus with her.

Ann when to talk to Jasmine, before come towards me. I could see Jasmine nodding as Ann spoke to her. Ann returned and explained that Stephanie was Jasmine Best Friend since P5, and they did everything together. Jasmine was so close to her, that she told her all her secrets. And last year everything changed, Stephanie copied Jasmine's project, and both of them were questioned for handing up the same work, but Stephanie insisted that she was the one that loaned Jasmine her which was totally inversed from the truth.

Me: Wah Lao, like that also can.

Ann: Jasmine was very upset

Me: Aiya project only mah why so serious?

Jasmine shot a look at me and it was a cold hard stare.

Jasmine: Ann, tell him everything.

Ann nodded her head and continued, She then told her friends in school that Jasmine was no longer a virgin and had sex with a fat ugly boy. The Rumour start spreading, and everyone in school was talking about Jasmine.

Me: how can be that Jasmine will not fight back

Ann: Because it was the truth.

Jasmine turned to me, now you know my first Boyfriend was fat and ugly, but I would not have got together with him if he was not Stephanie's Bf's buddy.

Me: This you cannot blame ppl, You chose to be with him.

Jasmine: If that bitch did not persuade me, I will Not!

Now I know why she was so upset with Stephanie and perhaps I did not know what Jasmine went through. She took her bag and walked away as she told me she was sorry she wants to go home, Ann followed as I looked at Ann holding on to Jasmine as they disappear into the crowd.
