I am learning... slowly. 2 times my hotel room got burgled and 3 times pick pocketed. Last week was razor blade cut my cargo pants side pocket while sitted in a jeep at 7pm. Did my research online before i head over.Have been a regular siam cheongster all my life never step foot into philippines before.Have long heard about angeles city are same same but different from pattaya,also a lover for pinoy so i think its time to experience ac.Plan well before hand & head over with a buddy(R).Got my ticket book late as unable to confirm our leave so end up paying $370 return with tax from tigerairways.

The day has come,my cheong map & itineary all printed out,head to changi with excitement & found myself landed in clark(Dmia)3 hrs 15 mins later.





1st impression of Dmia.Rundown & backdated.Im here for the famous GFE so what the hell.

Some nice friendly question from the Passport control officer & we pass thru pretty quickly to collect our laguage.Ignore all the touts & head outside.!st drama of the trip begin.

Our driver is not there there to pick us up.I had pre arrange & double confirm with my flight details with premier Garden Hotel.Went to the corner drinks stall break some notes so i have some coins to use the public phone.Shit duno how to dial or the phone got problem went back to ask the sweet lady at the stall how to dial local lan line.My surprise she have no idea also but help to ask her neigbour.Went back try dialing again still cannot so the officer white uniform ask us are we waiting for the driver some one looking for us.We follow him to the desk to find the written name not ours 1 of the officer help me call premier garden on his cellphone & on cheongster sense i find something not right.

He got thru & pass the phone to me everything sort out was inform we will be pick up in 15min.Next===The officer demand $20 Sing dollar from me saying he help me.I was no fool & tell him friend,this is just lan-line.He can even tell me his phone model to call is more expensive(He must be thinking everyone is a moron)Then told me $10 sing.I dun wanna offend him & smile to him say i appreciate his help hes a nice man but i just talk less than 2 min so i can only give him 20peso.He ask for 50peso i told him i use the public phone just 1 peso per min.(with smile of course)He took the 20peso & says ok i go to eat & head inside the canteen while we shift our ass out to get a puff.Meanwhile lots of ppl come to ask us to take thier taxi,some offer accomdation at only $10 sing per day we just declince & say we had booking already Shortly they leave us alone.

Finally the driver is here & we ere delight to be away from the prowling wolves.The road to town remind me of seletar camp.Soon we were at perimeter area our impression this place really no fight for pattaya,very run down town.

Arrive at the hotel to another surprise that the two room suite we had book is still occupy.Wth?Isnt the booking confirm?They offer to check us in to other room 1st as the previous occupant is checking out that evening.So we just took thier offer went to room shower & rest a bit.The room is so-so or poor by standard compare to pattaya.

ANGELES CITY -- An American Air Force retiree and four Filipinos were found shot to death inside their home.

Danilo Paredes, James Mina, and Frellie Cabunos, who were tagged as the killers of Kang Ha Yong, were apprehended by joint elements of the Angeles City police and town police in an apartment at Green Meadows Subdivision, Barangay Mabiga.

Kang Ha Yong was shot dead in front of the Arirang Hotel along the Friendship Avenue, Barangay Anunas in Angeles City.

Wow what a great start for the trip,serious cheap price compare to cheonging in sg.not bad.Walk along perimeter area.Many other bars with mostly ang mo expat(many curious stare on us from the gals.)This Area remind me of batam,same for the gals.Haha.Reach the end of perimeter & took a trike to sm mall.In case u guys dunno what it is,its mototorbike with a side car,total 3 wheels.Like tuk tuk but a lot more smaller.Even siting only 2 on the side car is crampy!

Hey bro,
Been to AC many times and here is what I think

1)Do not worry as they do not hate koreans in AC. They sometimes perfer koreans as they are known to be better tippers (but not as much as the Japanese though). If you speak english then you will be fine with little chance of ripoffs. They target Non-english speaking Koreans to ripoff.

2)Not a good idea to carry a gun while in PI unless you live there. I had a friend in PI that owns a machine gun at home but even he said he never carries a gun outside his home. He said when you get jumped (mugged) you will not expect it as they will come at you quickly and with perhaps 2-4 guys and you will not have time to find your gun anyway. Friend said once they find your gun, they will probably use it to shoot you with it- not good all around. staying safe in AC is easy, just don't walk alone on a deserted street at night drunk. If a street looks too deserted and dark or if you are lost (not really possible in AC, unless drunk), then flag down a trike or jeepney.

I always stay at the Diplomat Hotel. It is a fairly good location. No more than a 5 or max 10min walk to many girlie bars.
Only negative is that although internet and Wifi exist at the hotel, it sucks worst than some of the bad BJs I've gotten in Cebu

Cebu is generally a safe city except downtown near the port area at night or near the Carbon market area. Many SW in this area but not a great place to walk around by youself in the dark. Only locals hunting cheap pussy visit this area.

The chart you posted is the correct chart with the proper trike fares. But forget about getting the exact correct fare unless you speak and look native. Even some locals complaint they are over charged so imagine us poor cheonging suckers in AC. Best is to negotiate as best rate as possible, if driver still way overcharging, simply walk to the driver right behind him and more than likely he will accept (seeing you rejected the ass in front). Copy the chart and keep on you as a guide but good luck getting the exact fare, only hope to get close.
Also, (see the Chart) they are suppose have penalties for overcharging, ha- good luck with that as I was once complaining to a driver in front of the police and all he did was smile and walked away.
