Just got done with Valentine Escorts. Short summary for those not wanting to read it thru - Inconclusive but not recommended as yet. Here's the details:
Called the OKT and have to give him credit that he admitted not many good stocks in Penang compared to Kl. Also, as it's close to CNY, most of the good ones have earned enough and have already gone back (I was only looking for Chinese: local, PRC or Vietnamese). +1 for being honest. Said he will look for the best of those he has now and send it over to my hotel (They only do outcall)

Stocks in Penang r generally not good due to the okts here. But occasionally there r some gems though sad to say, not from the paid advertisers here. Actually, it depends on preferences too. Now, as for the cheong scene in Penang; my personal belief is that this is as good as it gets. It will never get any better due to the fundamental market forces at play in Penang. To wit: Penangites are very kiam (salty aka stingy), simple and unsophisticated.

It is true that most of us here can be quite kiam but I personally know of some bros who dun mind paying top dollar for quality stocks.
