The way they cook it is very different from KL, I don't know about S'gore....it is called "pow chee" means the whole piece together instead of loose form. it taste different but nice.

Secondly to get the same type "pow chee" in KL costs us 10 times that amount.....personal point of view......I love sharkfin soup..... ..medical benefits....dunno...just like it. Yummy!

By the way, sharkfin by itself is tasteless...like eating jelly fish without source! Hahahahha

But also have to admit that i did enjoy very much their bbq big head prawns, garlic chilli slices fish sauce kang kong and even their roast suckling piq. Somemore in nice air con comfort and paying only slightly more than the road side stalls.

Enjoy.

Re: Eating in Bangkok

A trip to Yaowarat would never be complete without trying out at least a bowl of pig organ's soup, Thai style. Amazing soup base and wonderful spices.

About 350bahts to 400bahts per kg if I can remember correctly. Somboon definitely more expensive...almost double. But Soomboon got bigger and better quality lobsters...not cheap though. Enjoy.
