hi guys, any recommendations for driver? been so long never been batam lol
I have a driver there and has been using him for 10yrs. I'm using him today. Heading with my kakis.. I usually give him $60 minimum. If we r coming with 4 pax, I add another some tips like extra $10 or 20. I usually pay with sgd. Whole day till tmr he will send u too to ferry.
Went to Batam last weekend with other friends. We decided to try M One ktv and what a surprised. The girls are not bad looking, out of 25 girls I think half is above average. The downside is the price of the cewek is slightly higher, range from 600 to 800k. Total spend 7M, inclusive the 5 girls.
Will definitely return if the quality of cewek remains.
Bro, I am heading there next week after many years of absence. Would u know if the chick quality will be the same as in Allisan?

Next week is the start of the month of Ramadan, the main doors of the booking joints will be closed and you will need to use the back doors to see the ceweks in the afternoon. The atmosphere in Batam will be much subdued but you can still find action if you know how to find it. The eateries will also be partially shuttered during the daytime but will be opened after sunset. There will be less girls in the joints but probably sufficient stock to serve the reduced number of visitors during the period. Play with care as many government officials are looking for extra income to celebrate thd Hari Raya during the period. Cheers and enjoy.

Much worse than that.
For the first THREE DAYS, all entertainment will be closed. Not recommended to go there unless one has already some eystablished contacts.
May I ask is it too expensive to pay a FL girl around $150 sgd overnight? What is the price range for overnight girls in batam clubs? I will be staying at Davinna hotel? Any nearby clubs?
I will be going over from May 6 to 8. The other thing is if I go harbour front and pay ferry tickets. Horizon ferry. How long in advance or as long as the ferry hv not depart. U can buy the tickets.
Many thanks in return for the answers and help! Long time never Chiong batam.
You don't take the time to read just a bit here, then you dare to go to Batam exactly on the first two days of Ramadan??
Major fail ahead (just my educated guess).

I entered Harbour Bay yesterday.
To avoid the hassle of registration, I went to the shops looking for a pre-registered card, as discussed in previous recent posts.
This time, I saw 4 or maybe 5 shops in line, right after the arrival exit door, plus some more boxes still empty.
All shops were manned by girls and only one by a boy: the last one to the right, with large Telkomsel signs. The boy looked teckie enough, so I went to him.
I bought one 4G Telkomsel card, with 2G+2G+1.5G+500M data (total 6G, but only 2G of full Internet browsing), for 100k.
The interesting thing is that (I report what the boy told me) this card is not registered, but it will be deactivated after one month if I do not register it using some real KTP/KK number via SMS, or my passport going to Grapari.
I am using it without problems, at full speed.
More in detail, this is what the boy told me. I cannot testify it is true or not, I just report it, but I notice it is partially in contrast with what I read on the web site of the operators! Welcome to Indonesia, the land of flexible Laws.
He said:
- This 4G Telkomsel card is not registered, but it is active now and will be deactivated after one month if I do not register it. This is in contrast with what I knew and I tried before, that is a card without registration does not have even a minute of grace period activation.
- Only Telkomsel offers such cards, which do not need registrations, are prepaid, and are therefore ideal for short-time foreigh tourists.
- He tried to register a card using random KTP and KK numbers, but it failed. He claims the system can check in real time if a KTP KK number is valid or not. I doubt, but he said so. I would like to try, if I have a card that neeeds to be registered.
- I asked a simple GSM card without data, only for calling. Telkcomsel does not have it. Only the 100k cards.
Therefore, he offered me a "3" card, for 35k, plus some top-up amount, which is PRE-REGISTERED and is active.
He does not know pre-registered using what KTP-KK numbers, but it words.
Once again: welcome to Indonesia!
Welcome to Indonesia where they sell cards starting price ar 100k near ferry terminals while at local shops cos only 40k.
One thing I enjoy during ramadan... is the evening food market near Aluim. Cant wait for the gathering of some batam specialist in the area. Also in batu ampat the palembang food specialist. Yammy.

Custom requirements > 30 minutes vefir schedule time.
Hehehe i going back the same perior.
Good luck
Hehehe...Batam Nagoya City Walk Mall's Go Food food fair...by day...
...and by evening, just an hour or 2 before sun sets...
Finally knows how to order fried banana in Batam too,hehehe...all by myself.
4k rupiah each and in the above photo, there is suppose to be 2 pieces of the fried banana (to be exact, its 2 pieces for 4k rupiah),hehehe...i ate one and the taste was good (or at least better than many other stores i have tried in Batam before).
Its good food for snacking, i would say. And below is the store that sells it.
4k rupiah each (basket serving plate), and using Go Pay, there's a 30% cash back,hehehe...what else could be more wonderful than having such delicacy for snacking at such a price in Batam.
Lastly, my main course below....costing about 35k rupiah (before 30% cash back), its stated as shanghainese chicken noodles tho,hehehe...
...and the store that sells it below.
I preferred the fried banana,hehehe...still thinking about it as i typed.
Go-Jek, Go-Car, Go-Food, Go-Pay...dont come to Batam w/o it,hehehe...just a joke.
Actually , i dont even understand what the above brochure talks about,hehehe...i picked this up from one of the store at Nagoya City walk Mall, the same one as the one at the Harbour Bay Food fair. As a matter of fact, i didnt have the apps on my phone,hehehe...not since day 1 i talked about Go-Car. But i find the apps pretty interesting indeed. Just that its probably mainly for those who could speak their language.
Heard my friend says there is a Go-Massage too,hehehe... perhaps that would tempt me to start learning indo bahasa.
