Empress Hotel, confirmed, stamped, chopped, endorsed by Naemlo, it is not girl friendly. I can't remember but girl fee is about 12 or 17 USD. Expensive hotel, pay less and there r many hotels which are better.

Usually I don't stay in D1 hotel, so I do not know which hotel still survive.
One time I stay in D1 hotle is with Anh va Em hotel. You may wish to try this. Just behind Ben Thanh
