Plan to go there 6/8 morning then depart 8/8 afternoon..... The trip to CP i plan to visit KTV(of cos lah) BBS(don't know where to find, but will like to hunt if any bro can tell me where to find this BBS and weather is it safe) Massage palours (any nice one around)??? Tentively this is wat i plan to do there.... but still awaiting 3dee bro intro..... Well, actually if you read back the thread, we have been discussed about this issue for few times, there are plenty of ways to make money out from the ktv. While I was typing, I was thinking, should I submit this posting? After all, we are here for fun, not for argument... And to me, writing such posting is not fun at all.  I like what bro Happykiwi has said before: "If I choose to join a KTV group, be prepared to accept what everyone else pays at the end of the night. Sure, feel free to question (nicely) the bill if it seems high. Talk to other brothers and find out what they each pay to verify the sums. Pay your dues promptly and move on. Now, this is the most important bit, if you feel that you have been ripped-off, then don't join any more of the same organiser's party again!" I fully shared your feeling being zapped, I had a similar experience previously, during my early day of posting, someone zapped me with the comment of "bull shitter"... But whether we are nice, sincere or not, the bros here know how to judge. Someone could be childish, but we should not, otherwise we are just no different than them... Further more, as what bro MonsterX said: we cannot exchange the point with cash, personally I think we shall not bother the point too much... To the benefit of the bros here, who are interested to know how the organizer makes money, here are the tricks. Please note that I am not referring to the particular person, but it is in general. 1. First, show the "before discounted" bill to the group, after collecting the money, pay the bill on the discounted rate. The general discount in dongguan ktv is 10%-30%. 2. Some ktv is giving away the voucher is the rebate. For this type of ktv, for every x dollar you spent, you will get the y amount of voucher, that can use to pay the bill on the next visit. 3. Buying the advance bulk coupon. Some ktvs does sell the coupon that allow you use for the higher value. For example, if you purchase a rmb5,000 coupon at a time, you can then use it for rmb6,000 item. 4. Some ktv can print the different version of the bill (or so called fake bill), of course, for the smart ones, they will not add the heavy item in the bill, but, do you aware how many box of issues have been consumed? How many mixer like green teas have opened? What are the type of the food plate that put on the table? 5. Getting the rebate on the room booking. All the mummies, KJ, working girls and the floor managers have the quota on the ktv room booking, for example, some ktv KJ sales target is 4 rooms per month, if they do not achieve the target, then they have to pay rmb100 for every room. The smart organizer will nego on the room booking rebate. 6. Bring the drink outside from ktv and use it in the room. Some will even sell the drink to you at the ktv rate. For example, chivas is selling about rmb200 at the supermarket, but the ktv rate is at least rmb600 (with tax). 7. Getting the monthly rebate on room booking and spending. On top of all the above rebate, if you are the frequent customer, you will entitle for the monthly room booking and spending rebates. (That is why most of the organizer only focusing on few ktvs, and they will condemn the rest of the ktvs by saying "not good, not worth to go..."). 8. Besides these, there is one that I HATE the most, collect the rebate from the girl! Personally I feel this is the most bo ethics one. To some ktv, the organizer can partner with the mummies, every girl that sit in the room, the organizer will entitle for the commission. Earning bros money still alright, but earning girls money... Well... These are what I can think off now, but of course, that could be other tricks that I am not aware... Anything is possible in China! And here I only covered the ktv session, there are other ways to generate income like hotel room booking, transport, BBS, sauna, and etc... And as what bro Sakurada said before "...transparency is a dirty word in China...", showing you the bill does not mean fair and transparent. About the photo posting... my personal opinion is as far as we do not zap by boss sam, I think we are not against any rule here.
