Indeed, over the last 6 days, including tonight the last day to pay the last respects, many braved the heat and stuffiness and tired legs to queue just to see the coffin at a distance.....
Only invited dignitaries are approved to climb the steps to view in closeness....If life mirrors death, what should be the general public's wake up call?
In death as in life, the social elitist divide is pretty obvious, isn't it?
Contrast this with the state funerals of Mao and Nelson Mendela......in life as in death, the closeness and accessibility is starkly obvious......there was no divide.
