Cheap/free internet hotspots in bangkok?

anyone knows where i can find cheap/cheaper/free internet hotspots in bangkok? i'm staying in palazzo and they charge like 400Baht a day... chor man.. anyone has any idea?

Internet cafe would be much much cheaper if you thinking of surfing for an hr or 2....plenty of such cafe near where you are staying...if you are thinking of doing so reseach on the net to cheong...maybe dun need to cos u are walking distance to many of the whore houses...best time would be before evening to get the best and fresh stocks...

addtional infor....where u are stay...walk out to the main rd and you would found a nice seafood place across the rd to eat out...just beside a overhead bridge...cheaper den the rest of the places along that main road...

This list is not bad although theres not much near your hotel.

I sometimes use the free signal in the Fujitsu Showroom along corner of Soi Ruamrudee and Ploentchi - Sukhumvit.

Also the free signal at the areas around All Season Square too (Soi Ruamrudee - Soi Wittayu.

There are plenty of signals all over the city some coming from private residences. You just have to locate them.

Yes, at most Amari Hotels, the signal in the lobby area is free too.

True, WPLannet, KSC, AIS are all not free except that in Siam Square area, its advertised as free for True.

It would be great if someone here can work out a good list of FREE WIFI in Bangkok to improve on that Stickman's list and your list where some free wifi spots were listed.

U jus walk out palazzo hotel, facing 7-11, make a left turn, walk down in less than 20steps, u come across a massage/internet cafe on ur left. Think price much cheaper than palazzo. Of course not cheap like those in MBK/town internet cafe whereby, 1hr 20bht. thats the onli cheapest along palazzo. Or walk down towards huay kwang market, there cheaper. But if i were you, i will use the one next to palazzo.

yes i know not free.. hehhee.. that list is where all the providers are. i think u can buy those internet wifi access cards outside which allow u to access the different providers.

wah, we need a bkk brother to help us update the stickman list man.. i have resigned myself to paying outrageous internet access fees to have internet in the comfort of my room.. hhehe.. 400baht for 24 hrs can faint..
