The Intern

I'm a manager in a local SME in charge of sales and marketing so I am always on the move.

Cut it short. 5 months ago, there was a letter on my desk from XXX Poly offering their students to our company as interns. My first thought, why not? I was then very busy so I replied and forgotten all about it.

2 months later, I received a call from XXX Poly.

"Hello, Mr Noiser. Our interns will be starting their internship with your company from next week. Is there anything you might want to brief them?"

For a moment, I was stunned as this whole thing has gone out of my mind. To make things worse, I'm flying off to Tokyo for a major tradeshow in 2 weeks time so I do not have time to teach them the ropes! On the other hand, if they are capable/smart, they might come in useful in preparation for the tradeshow.

"How many interns are you allocating to my company?"

"Two, sir."

"Ok, ask them to report to my office 8am on Monday morning. Bring their barang barang, writing pad etc."

Time really flies.

Very soon, it's 8.05a.m in the morning and I'm enjoying my Cafe Latte at my desk.

I heard running steps outside and someone apologizing profusely. Before I know it, 2 young ladies burst in my office, looking all flustered.

Oh well.. what do we have here?

One with a lean althetic body, tanned and everything that looks like a typical "Netball" girls. Her legs are a killer.

The other one looks like a potential OL in the making. Voluptuous with slight hint of baby fats, highlighted hair, perfumed. Cladded in blouse and denim skirt, coupled with sexy stiletto. She looks like she's dressed to kill. Not forgetting her big crystal eyes that seems to sparkle everytime I look at her.

I might be dropping a tad too heavy on my hint since my description is heavily inclined. But these are my frank first impression. First impression really counts.

At the back of my mind, I know I'm in for a good time.
