you are probably right. Also, the prestige associated is no longer as high. Last bit not least, SQ apparently has some rather harsh rules, eg I heard that the stewardesses who become pregnant will be either grounded or dismissed.

They no longer do. In this day and age, it is very sensitve news to fire someone over pregnancy. But that said, they end up losing something like 2yrs of work progress. Hence many flying mothers dont make it past the leading rank. Most cabin crew wont want to get pregnant. Play your cards to your advantage bros 👌
