do a test in a months time after last exposure and then another one in 3 months time....that should be sufficient.

depending on you last exposure, you can consider PEp if you are worried.

Windows period is 3 months.

You can do a test now for peace of mind, then another test after 3 months to be conclusive.

Does anyone know how does it work ? there are so many types of test under STI test, which is also separated from HIV test ?

Looks like you didnt get a reply so I'll share my experience. Yes, the clinic will be abit crowded but if you feel uncomfortable, just wear a mask. Take a queue number, go to the counter, and tell them you wanted to buy a test kit. They will offer free testing (they had some programme going on at that time) but you can say no and get the test kit. Then they will explain how to use it in a private room and let you go.

If you're uncertain, let the professionals do it for you. After all, it's anonymous so you have nothing to worry about.
