Bro, Tiger Airways whacked me for excess weight because of my golf clubs Sin to Jkt recently..... they are mercenary about excess weight..... 15 kg is max.... not a gram more.

Jetstar gives you up to 20kg. Golf bag is considered baggage...Tiger - make sure you pay for up to 15kg baggage online which is sgd10 one way. You can also pay for golf bag at a fees, not sure how much lor...maybe others can advice.

Tiger Airways charges S$30.00 per sector for sports equipment check-in. Go for Jetstar if you've many check-in luggages. Tiger Airways is good for those who travel light thus saving S$10.00 per sector for up to 15KG check-in luggage. On some routes I travel very light. All that I brought was just a NTUC plastic bag.
