Alamak KT they do not use your blood immediately, somemore not even for the person you donated to, they based on a 1-to-1 exchange basis, meaning they will use those blood donated in the past which have already undergone the necessary laboratory tests which may take more than 1 week, how I know, becos one of my relative is a nurse Sinkapore very kiasu one you know....

This way they can always make sure the blood bank have blood mah in case of emergencies
