28 September, 2010 - Mayor: Angeles City relatively peaceful
ANGELES CITY -- Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan said Tuesday that the city is still relatively peaceful despite several killings involving foreign nationals over the past few days.

Pamintuan issued the statement amid reports that several foreign and local tourists are now afraid to visit and stay in the city.

According to the mayor, three out of the five killing cases recorded over the past two weeks were solved by the city police.

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan has reiterated his stand to uphold laws against human trafficking and decency.

The mayor said this during an emergency meeting on Saturday with businessmen who own establishments along Fields Avenue and Friendship Perimeter Road.

Its a discotheque with live band. power atmosphere. if u get it lucky, u can find a partner for the night , no need bar fine cos they are college girls, partyin their nite away. Firstly, there is no perimeter road.
There is Fields Ave and Don Juico Ave (aka Perimeter Rd).

So the last bar on Perimeter will be Stargate.
Before that will be Mirrors inside Clarkton Hotel.

If u go down to Friendship (Korean Town), there are a couple more bars there.
Cold Drop, Jolly Frog... and a few more i think.

There are other places besides these but usually for Filipino customers.
Not to mean foreigners are not welcomed but they are rarely seen.

I would advice the less adventurous to stay in Fields Ave and Perimeter Rd bars. U wouldn't want to be pick pocketed 5 times now would u.....

Gosh, You are testing me to the max of my knowledge. Well, to the best of my limited knowledge, you can check out the extra areas as follows:
1. From the end of Perimeter Road where the jeep journey from CheckPoint to Friendship ends, turning left, there are a few gems like Cold Drop and Jolly Frog. Straight on is 2 videoke joints thats just opened. These 2 joints have waitresses that are fun but not barfinable. Of cos you can do txt arrangements on your own. Cold Drop and Jolly Frog are bars that have great potential in cheap barfine, drinks and even a room available.
2. You can also check out the bars at Hana Hotel area off Mcarthur Highway where its more localised as in its for the local expats.
3. There is a road parallel to Fields Avenue that's lined with videoke bars and some have girls that you can barfine. But watch yourself as its also a local's outlet. It's a place where the bargirls come to buy the handsome guys men;s drinks(200p). They also need some release.Remember in AC, girls outnumber men by lots. There are also outlets like Julianas and more videoke bars but not recommended.
Others may know of more joints and I also would love to know of them. Thanks in advance..

Yeah the last bar on Upper Perimeter is Stargate (sorry i wrote stargaze earlier)... Yeah i was adventurous went all the way there and still go all the way there on every trip.

At Stargaze i liked the flat screens that face you in all directions where sometimes the lyrics of the words are also displayed and the video is also displayed for the song that is being played.

I usually try to get into every possible pub (unless really cmi types) to get a feel of the place and see how comfortable i am.

When i got off at the end at Friendship i even turned to the left and saw the one or 2 pubs there. Not sure if they have changed management now..

At these places mentioned is there happening stuff. if yes i would love to know cause i am pretty sure these places are darn cheap..

I am pretty adventurous and usually stay out of trouble with skill.

Just that i am curious to know if there are other places that are happening as well..

We are as old as each other on this thread dude... The reason i am asking for information is to check if my knowledge of AC is limited and as a seasoned bro if you can expand that.

So i am right then in that we have

1) from the end of fields ave to stargate
2)friendship turn left got a few videoke and pubs
3) since you mentioned cheap what is the bar fine like at Cold Drop and Jolly frogs
4) Ok Hana hotel area of the Mcarthur Highway i really dunno much about this. Care to enlighten how to get there and what are the choices like? Sorry dude i know your busy... But would really love to hear your wise words here.
5) The road parallel to fields i think i know that one.... it has a massage parlour and lots of videoke bars right

Barfine rate at Cold Drop was 1000p last I knew it but could be at most 1100. Operated by John, who is a legend in AC. He opened Strawberry Fields in Fields on Real Street(off Sub Delicious) and charged Cold Drop prices on Fields. Though the selection is not on par as the big bars. You can also check out Silly Hat near Star Gate which is also owned by him.
I am now in a resort in Calbayog, Samar to visit some provinces and get a feel of the girl's living situations. Will come up to Manila/AC on Oct 5 n stay till 10 Oct. Allow me to join you for some barhopping.
