Bro, Me early bird la. I wake up at 6am every morning. Yes, it has been raining for the past few days in HCMC, but just maybe 5 to 10 mins of rain. Not sure about other districts, but at my district this was what i have observed.

Its only about 7 months old and they allow lady guests so long as the girl has
ID with her.

Promotional rate was USD21 when I used it two months ago. The rooms are nice and the location is within walking distance of many of the central localities. Free internet in the coffee shop.
Personally I like this hotel much.

Alternatively if you want to save more, try this very nice hotel recommended by Sha Gua which is in Pham Ngu Lau backpackers' area.

Its also clean and the rooms are very decent except that it has lousy frontage in the back lane. Internet services on site but chargeable. Rooms from US$12 to US$ 18 depending on room size.
Again, the girl must have an ID card with her.

There is another very nice hotel near the Caravelle that is also girl friendly but I forgot the name and it was recommended by one of the samsters here.
