Tink you are confused about the 2 types of outlets, the salons (e.g. Le Duyen) with real hair-cutting stylists available will require that you keep your pants or shorts on as some of these saloons are unisex, those massage parlors especially in hotels (Caesar, Rang Dong..etc) you can wear your birthday suits inside but minimum covered with a towel (Actually some of the more conservative gals may still insist you still put the shorts on).

There are some dirty saloon joints quite some distance out of town area but then if you see the condition of the beds, you definitely will want to keep your pants or shorts on.....

I dun recommend those unless you are with a local or at least have some basic conversant vietnamese

Try this, they have both flowers & gifts, have used them more than 10 times in the past few years with no problems before, even to the provinces but gotta pay a bit more if they are out of town area.

Just arrived HCM, staying at A&Em 179 Ly Tu Trong.
Room at USD 35/ night.

Got a shock when I see a desk top in the room.
Can go Sammyboy surf internet until seow.

Somemore FOC.
Breakfast also free.

I love Vietnam's hotel.

Oh...all these while when I visited the MPs in the hotels, I did not remove my shorts and I thought that was not allowed. The girls also did not ask me whether I want to take off my shorts.

I will make a trip to Rang Dong today. See how it goes. Will come back with a FR.

room for 40usd per night
quite clean and good service....
bigger room and good discount given on the spot

sad news is that she bluff me again, saying that cannot come already
