Ba aint too bad actually. Saw him play his 1st season for NC n scored quite a few goals. last season he was injured for a long spell which he was outshone by Cisse. his form seemed to have returned, fr his performances so far. but his price tag will not come cheap for sure.
Demba's 1st season was at West Ham where he was a flop..... he was sent out on loan to dunno where before Newcastle took him in and he found his scoring touch there.
I am afraid he might be like Andy who can score plenty at Newcastle but dry up on coming to Anfield.

Enrique cannot fit into BR's system.... that is why BR moved Glen Johnson over to the left back position.... even putting Downing there in favour of Enrique.

You are right - look at Carroll (loaned out), Adam (sold), Downing (converted/benched), Henderson (benched), Enrique (warned).
BR is removing KD's influence and imposing his own will on the team. Have no doubt he is ruthless and determined.
What I'd like to see further is play a couple of the young defenders instead of Skrtel (Wisdom? he looks a tad short though) and strikers, maybe even drop Reina.

we still have coates and wilson waiting in the wings, both have already been capped by their respective national teams...
brad jones doesn't look like capable to give reina a kick on his backside or make him lose any night of sleep.
while our young gk galucsi din make any impression during his loan period last season, but he is captain of hungary u-21.
Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Yeah where is our 'good' buddy Pirambis when we need him eh?!...old whiskey nose whining as usual when his team loses...
Bk to the reds...v happy for br n the lads wif this win at carrow rd...
..nxt 2 games agst reading n stoke must wins to get much needed consistency n finally kick start the reds season...hope br can do something to stop the leakage of goals though...defence seems alarmingly too soft n brittle...reds really missing lucas n wats up wif reina??.... his form has been poor of late...

any club with youngsters will have good future...and mixed with seniors...the seniors experience can be passed down and guide the youngsters for big games...youngsters are fearless and full of energies...but in big games require seniors to pass them the necessary advice...

I don t think there's anything wrong with reina, yes he did make mistakes,we need to defend better, protect him like when were under rafa, keepers are prone to mistakes and so does our forwards who keep missing chances.there were times when reina kept us alive in games.wat happened to our Brazilian keeper we signed from Roma?

U must give credit to BR to have the bottle to throw in the kids, cos his head is on the chopping board, can t believe this kids were under Kenny and he nvr saw the potential in them, btw just a note shelvy, souso, sterling and a host alot of kids were brought in by rafa when they revamped the academy.I feel if u r good enuff than u r old enuff.hopefully we kick on from here, but we need to be tight at the back.

Yes credit to BR but he also had no choice, with so many of the senior forwards leaving in the summer.
Then again, when you see that Rafa played El Zhar, and the kids that are in the team now, you can see BR has been spot on in his selection and encouragement.
But will the kids win the league for us? Recent history suggests no.

true but when they mature and we add on players just maybe we might nick the 19th but we need to get in to the champions league first. I M GLAD THAT BR gave downing and enrique a kick up thier backsides, telling them i don t need to wait till jan to tell them wat i noe now.hope those 2 got the msg and start wrking harder instead of whining.

Ouch!
Rodgers was more than pleased by the performances of his teenage trio in the 5-2 win over Norwich at the weekend, and he admits their work-rate and attitude makes it easy to pick them at the expense of more established stars, such as Stewart Downing.
"Yes, it makes my job easy. In fact, my job couldn't be easier because if you are fighting and someone else isn't, there isn't even a... it is so easy," he added. "Lots of others in the team are putting their bodies on the line and the ones that don't stand out like a sore thumb.
"There is no problem and for me status does not matter. It is what you are like as a player. It doesn't matter how much money you have come for, that doesn't matter to me. I will play a 17-year-old if he fights and he has quality."

Yeah, Arse shows that you can challenge with kids, but they will crumple in the end.
Cantona and the Scum kids were from an earlier generation before the Arabs and Russians brought millions into English clubs.
Hope I am proven wrong but it's much more difficult now.

Enrique gave the excuse that his knee injury affected his performance.
Looks like Downing has accepted his fate and is looking for a way out.... West Ham in interested in him.
