The cab fares usually are 95.000 VND, some smaller taxis are 90.000 VND.
Hoang long cabs (green and yellow) charges 10.5000 VND
Nearly got cheated by those small size lok kok cab....travelled only about 500m and it jumps to 50.000 VND plus, when i saw it, i quickly asked to be alight halfway and took other taxi to continue my journey.

Anyway the safest cab to take are vinasun (white green), comfort-saxico or something (part owned by comfort in sg,same blue colour) and vina taxi (yellow). For Mai linh taxi, i think the meter like jumped abit faster than the other 2? not sure, just feels like it does.
The starting price are usually stick on their vehicle, and the pricing is normally stick on the dashboard. If u had any compliants like overcharged, long detours, fake meters etc, u can actually record down the car plate number and the number sticker on their cab. Whether its useful, i dont know, being its in vietnam.
Knowing abit of viet and knowing your route will helped in being overcharged, but to me, if its a few dollars difference sometimes we cant be overly bothered by it.

Lastly, why no one bought up this famous noodle shop?
You cant miss it, its right after the turnabout and the sign is big with usually packed ppl.
