What's the best way to go from KL? Might have a change of plans and decide to fly in/out KL/SG instead of making a road trip.

My event ends Thurs evening. Possible to get to Danok that night? Or next morning? How and price? Return flight on Sun night (check in 9pm), can make it back in good time?

bro, everything is possible. if you wanna take coach, it's not advisable to take on thursday evening, the custom gate will close at 12am night. You can take midnight coach on thursday like most bro did and reach there around 7am friday morning.

On return, i am not sure as what i know most of the coach leave hatyai and danok around noon time. so will reach KL around 7pm. but sometime can drag till 9pm depend on traffic. I am not sure whether got early morning coach to KL or not. maybe other bro can enlighten you.

Bro Freshmeat, I used to take SE super from Klang (working in Klang) to Danok (bus will continued to Hatyai). Kindly inform driver that you are disembarking in danok so they don't have to wait for you. Coming back the bus leaves Hatyai at 10 am (thai time) will take about an hour to reach Danok. All you have to do is go through thai and Malaysia imigration. Just after the malaysian imigration wait at the stand at side of the road. Most probably you will meet alot of cheongsters waiting for bus back. The bus will arrive at around 12 noon (malaysia time). The SE super will continue its journey to KL after Klang.
