In HCM now. Went Gossip last night and was quite happening. Saw a lot of good lookers. My group was pretty big coz one whole lot of viet gals joined us there. My friend and I only suppose to have 2 tour guides, suddenly at night, became 6 tour guides!!
But Gossip not cheap last nite, gotta pay 120k cover charge per pax. then later we ordered 4 bottles of remy for 3 mil dong (buy 2 get 2 free). but final bill came was 4.3 mil dong. after adding cover, its about 5 mil dong.
one irritating thing was the girls kept taking 100k from us to pay the waiters. same waiter also paid at least 2 times.
summary: enjoyable night but major hole in pocket to my friend and I.
did you get laid? for 3 mil dong, i would expected to.
You got conned into paying cover charge. I have never been asked to pay cover. But I do see Gossip making Foreignors pay cover. DOnt ask me why.
Paying the waiters tips is to show off to everyone that you are rich and dare to spend, it is also trying to get better service from the staff.
You have to pay for mixers which are not cheap anyways.

Thought I'd give a quick post of a place I visited on my last trip to hcmc.
It was a cafe that my uncles brother took me too. This cafe is nothing like the cafe places like Windows. Here, its quite dim and its just a nice roomy space. So, what happened was that we ordered coffee and suddenly a few ladies came to our table and sat with us. They chatted to us, and allowed us to free roam them ALL over.

you mean cafe "oum"? i think they still have a lot of this type of establishment in the outskirt. my friend just told me that massage in bui vien include bj, only abt 300k. but i havent try yet.
