I've took the ferry twice already and it took slightly more than an hour to reach Vung Tau. But my Vn girl get sea-sick whenever she took the ferry. Stop at a pharmacy and buy either dramamine or the sticky patch you can put behind your ear...ok I mean her ear. That should keep it under control. Actually that's a river so the waves shouldn't be much of a problem. Another thing to do is go to a spot where you can see out and keep watching the land (horizon if out on sea). For some reason there seems to be a high rate of seasickness/carsickness amongst Vietnamese.

Oh, she will take the sea-sick pill that is white in colour. But the medicine is so strong that she will sleep through the entire afternoon. Leaving me to watch tv in the hotel, or go for a stroll on the beach by myself. Haiz..

Yes, i also noticed that many Vn girls suffer from car-sickness when they take the taxi. Perhaps they are too used to their xe Honda.

No, there are no ferry services to Mui Ne.

I've not been to Mui Ne but understand that the bus journey is about 3 hours from HCMC.

guys i know most of you are newbies and are used to paying a certain price, im a Oz citizen so if anything im even used to paying higher prices but still remember u are in Vn not singapore...and so just to put things in perspective, i took deptrai to a caphe om..very seedy..but u get a bbbj or a hj etc plus free roaming for 80k total..tip if u want to....next u can get a massage and a bbbj though some girls will try and cheat and give a hj for 160k...the session lasts for 45mins..6-7-8/10 in looks can be found. Today i found a place that give u hair washed and facial, massage and bbbj and free roaming 150k TOTAL..thiese girls were 6-7/10.now if u wanna start giving girls 100 usd for a st thats ur business but they will only think ur a idiot and so will i.

Tried out this local restaurant SH Garden, 143 Hai Ba Trung District 1. Located at the end of an alley off Hai Ba Trung main street with quite a nice setting. To me, the food is quite tasty but a little bit pricey.

And for those who want to try those freshly brewed beer, can try Hoa Vien (microbrewery & restaurant), 28bis Mac Dinh Chi Q1. They also serve food. Can be quite pack during dinner especially weekend.

Nowadays, becoming domesticated (= more makan and shopping), cutting down on cheonging and other night activities.

Dont know wht the noodles also have bee hoon insinde. A simple dish of Kang Kong with sambal took 30 minutes. The best thing, I went for dinner at 9.30pm so not crowded.

btw, anyone got lobang for a viet gal that speak good chinese or english? might need help to communicate. just pm me contact and rates, got special or not nevermind. main thing help to translate when i catch no ball . hopefull rates not too high as i on low budget trip.

Try the chicken rice next door. (Com Ga Hai Nam kieu Singapore) Their roasted chicken is slightly better than their white chicken. They serve all 3 'correct' condiments - garlic paste, chilli sauce and sweet soya sauce, although the latter is quite watered down - doesnt have the gooey gooey consistency unlike in Singapore. Overall not bad - I say its about 85% authenticity... good enough if you're craving S'pore chicken rice.

Should be before Cau Ong Be (Ong Be Bridge) coming eastwards from Binh Chanh District. They hang around and wait under the trees just before the turnoff to the slip road leading under the bridge and towards D8.
