Try the chicken rice next door. (Com Ga Hai Nam kieu Singapore) Their roasted chicken is slightly better than their white chicken. They serve all 3 'correct' condiments - garlic paste, chilli sauce and sweet soya sauce, although the latter is quite watered down - doesnt have the gooey gooey consistency unlike in Singapore. Overall not bad - I say its about 85% authenticity... good enough if you're craving S'pore chicken rice.

Yes I think maybe it is them or another company over there that has the bus with these small beds built into it. No seats on the bus, only beds. We took it up there one time, it's OK, not bad. About a 4+ hour trip to get there. You can relax and read a book or magazine, take a nap easily.
Has anyone found a good place to stay in Mui Ne? We stayed at one called Lucy Resort which is really nice but quite far from everything else (if you want to go out to eat somewhere, it's a bit of a drive), and it's very quiet there. Nice beach. Decent in-house restaurant. Nice rooms. It was just $20 a night when we went, may be more by now.

Sorry to barge in but am wondering if anyone here is kind enough to offer some guidance. I will be in HCM this Sat for 1 night only (staying in Phoenix 84 hotel in D1), and have never had a Viet experience and would love to have it on this trip.

eerrrmmm....Raverboy is correct about the place. 2 people eat, Prawn Mee, Duck Noodle, Fried Veg, 2 drinks and towel, cost 90VND. Very cheap. Hurricane, you would be surprised just how many people eat at the chicken rice stall next door to the prawn noodle shop. Constantly pack with moto bikes and cars stopping out front.
Just to clear the confusion. The prawn noodle and the chicken rice are 2 seprate shops located next to each other but operated by the same owner. you can sit at the noodle shop and still order chiken rice etc etc.

hi, u are based in district 1, u want a classy location and young viets...this all talks of premium products, also u want convenience....the problem is 1000's of similar people such as yourself have request and paid for things like 500k hj or 200us over night for catwalk girls....even if i told u wher u can find cheaper and better alternatives it will be outside of district 1 and it will be outside of your capacity. Best choice is to go to the hotels massge, pay whatever she asks because u have no options then later go to catwalk, pay their 15us dollar an hour fee and pay the girl 200us overnight...if someone else has better advice please help
