hi, u are based in district 1, u want a classy location and young viets...this all talks of premium products, also u want convenience....the problem is 1000's of similar people such as yourself have request and paid for things like 500k hj or 200us over night for catwalk girls....even if i told u wher u can find cheaper and better alternatives it will be outside of district 1 and it will be outside of your capacity. Those in D1 are more for brudders whom:
- do not have the luxury of time to venture out of D1
- do not mind paying a lot more in US$ for HJ or BBBJ or ST
- not able to speak Vietnamese
- and do not have a "local" guy to bring them to more local joints

Just to clear the confusion. The prawn noodle and the chicken rice are 2 seprate shops located next to each other but operated by the same owner. you can sit at the noodle shop and still order chiken rice etc etc.
So HCM residents are growing more affluence...wonder where the money came from??........

Cheao and good??? this day and age in Vietnam very difficult to find cheap and good. One bowl of noodles easily cost you VND15K now adays. Vietnam govt themselves already admited that they will depreciate the VND every year by at least 5%. When I first came here, SGD$100 gives you VND9.3mil. Now the same amount gives you VND12.3 mil. That is a 30% increase. How can you assume that the currency deprciates in value but everything stays the same?
Whoever comes to Vietnam and asumes that cheonging and eerything else is cheap.
Coming here for a holiday is one thing, staying here long term is another thing.
