Times flies, people change and situations change too. When i first arrived in HCMC, S$1 = 7200VND or S$100 = 720K VND. Taxis are few and old. When it rains, it rains in the taxis too.. hihihi. A few years later when Taxi Vinasun came out with their new Toyota Altis , locals were delighted. Only a few airlines fly to HCMC and tickets were expensive then. Most people on bike or bicycles.

BUT.. look at Vietnam now, its different in so many ways.

BUT.. look at Vietnam now, its different in so many ways.

This is progress and advancement but still long way to go. This place still lack road systems and communications. I remember my ticket to hcm was $598.00 in 1998 on SQ. Today ticket can be as low as less than $100.00.

You can always look for girls in Geylang or Joo Chiat areas where there are some Vietnamese women there. Chinese, Malaysian and Thai women are available in Geylang as well. Rates vary from S$50 to S$150. But the rates is higher for local women. Enjoy!
