Continuing.....

Finally settled at a Taiwan restaurant that serves beef noodles. Ordered a traditional beef noodle and some side dishes.

Food was served and both of us just immersed in the fragrant of the beef soup. Constantly our eyes met but we dare not look at each other's for long. We stole glances but we never admit about it. The atmosphere at the restaurant though was a relax one but not for us. I was feeling uneasy. I guess she felt the same too.

We didn't finished the food. Not because we are full but rather we just want to leave the place. An excuse to get away the weird air, feeling brewing around us.

Outside the street.....

Me: "Shall we get some drinks, go to a quiet place?"
June: "Anything. I fine with any suggestion."

I was think that I should have suggested to a hotel since she was fine with anything!

So we grabbed a few drinks and headed towards Marina Barrage.

When we reached there it was surprisingly quiet at 9.30pm. Only 2 old couples strolling at the dam. We went up to the sky garden and settle at a corner facing the Tanjong Rhu areas.

Me: "You don't seem right, aren't you?"
June: "Am I? What makes you say so?"

Me: "I can feel it."
June: "Feel it? You barely know me. How much can you feel it?"

Me: "I feel it through you body language, your behaviour and that look in your eyes."
June: "Hmmm..." (She hesitated for awhile.)

June: "You are kinda right. I am not in my ownself lately."
Me: "I am here beside you. Feel free to share with me. I am all ears to you."
June: "Thanks.....


There was a long pause after she said thanks to me. She was starring blankly at the horizon across the island while sipping her drink. As for me, I joined her, at times looking her side view, appreciating her beauty. Anticipating words from her.

Silence broken in the air.

June: "I am very very confused now..."Me: "Huh???"

Me: "Say?"
June: "I dun know what to do now?"
Me: "Take your time dear. Lets start slow. Say whatever you feel like saying. Perhaps you'll feel better."


That's the first time I address her as "Dear". A very strong feeling about her."

June: "I am afraid I might be too long-winded. You might find it boring. I..."
Me: "Don't worry dear. Let it out. Trust me. It's better to talk to somebody than bottled it up. I may not give you constructive solution but rest assure I will try to be your confidant."

June: "Really thanks to be here with me. I am sure I am going to trouble you once again. I really feel bad and lousy...."

I cut her conversation

Me: "Say nothing June. Do you treat me as a friend anyway?"

June: "...sure.... of course."
Me: "You sound hesitant."

June: "Urrrr....I just feel that the whole thing was just so unexpected. So .... sigh..."
Me: "About?"

June: "....I am lost.... "
Me: "Still lost after the accident? I guess you might have a serious concussion."

June: "huh.....My head is fine but not my brain...."
Me: "Ok...then I shall be your neurologist to cure you."

June: "haha....if only.... "(Finally she let out a very light smile despite the problems in her mind. Well at least I managed to cheer her up at this moment)

Me: "So....what's bothering you."

June: "......I discovered that ....."
