Went to Saigon Star Karaoke on Saturday with a few friends.
I arrived there early with a gal...so we thought we get the room and start singing first.....here is what happened :

Manager : How many person?

Me : About 6.

Manager : Where are the rest?

Me : Come later, can give us the room first?

Manager : Cannot. Must wait for at least one more person.

Me : Huh? Why? 2 person cannot sing? We still pay according to the time ma...

Manager : One guy one gal cannot.

Me : Huh??? Why not? This is karaoke room, not hotel room. We come here to sing, not to fuck!!!

Manager : Its the rule.....errrrr....because last time got pple fuck inside kena caught!!!

I had some trouble bringing two woman up to my hotel room before. He simply refused eventhough we were all foreigners. Yeah it was 2.30 in the morning. But what we do is none of their business, is it? Vietamese haters! haha....

Recently I have been successful in Thailand and have been invited into some partnership for F&B business in HCMC.

I only know 3 good spots which sell Singapore food in HCMC which are
1. the Food Court in Mei Linh Point (in Dist.1),
2. the Eric who owns this Little Red Dot (in Dist.3) and
3. this 11-years in Vietnam fellow who owns this 3 storeys eating house (in Dist.5/10 couldn't remember), specialising in Hainanese Chicken Rice.

Cheongsters in HCMC, did you guys look for Sin Food besides getting busy with gals? Anyone thinks it's a good business opportunity? Or ...

My partner's plan is to set up a middle-end eating house, selling Singapore Food to the locals and expats.
