On sights off Chiangmai (to digress from this forum's sex bias), day self drive trip to Mae Rim is worthwhile. Especially like the off beaten track to Mon Jam, 45mins from Chiangmai. Only 1 village style restaurant on top, and you submit to country menu. Many locals camp over. Instead of only just doing oh so touristy Doi Suthep

Very true, if one has more time to spend in northern Thailand and able to self drive/ride, a lot more nice places just around 1 hour or so drive. Nice for a break of city life and cheong scene. If can sian syt Uni student, nurse, sales girl, hotel staffs etc, then plan a romantic trip to Pai will be good.

when u come cm, stay around CMU area and turn on wechat or momo, sure u find some chinese student or teacher around. My daughter chinese teacher also PRC ajarn, but must act laojiao in CM to sian and bring her around 6c6c lah

Not sure also not been there since 10 years ago, but look at Thai way believe sure to have this policy until now. But mainly farang kena and we asia as long u speak a bit of thai or dun speak at all sometime can still pay local price

according to few of my thai friends, right now the club @ Maya is the most hip and happening place in CNX right now. Haven't been there though.

Personally I always miss the first round of clubbing. Because will get drunk during dinner and wake up ard 1-2am and the place i can go is only fabrique. hah. i just woke up from my dinner drinking session.
