Boss: I'll make sure we learn from Palace

Brendan Rodgers has vowed to analyse how his Liverpool players 'managed' the game during the closing exchanges of their disappointing 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night.

i'm sure he will learn, the team will too....

tat's one thing I like about BR, he learns and he is not scare of admit and change....

remember tat he is one strong believer of tiki-taka or possession football when he first joined us, so many of us complained tat we pass until cow comes home still cannot score... but look at how we play now...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Real Madrid looks to prize Suarez away from Liverpool with a 70m pounds bid which is good to trigger the release clause in his contract.

Real is well known to splash on players they want.

70m pounds is peanuts...hes worth more than bale pool shd not let him leave for that amt...it shd be 120mil pounds. we cant blame him if he wants to go..he did his part, we were just not good enuff 3-0 up and we gave it away...i dont noe if we had PR or DA at the back we wld have control it better at the back...SM does not seem to be a gk who barks out instructions to his defenders.dam its so hard to get over this one.

Yeah, it is going to be a bitter pill to swallow.

I am a neutral fan and I don't see Brendan forking out 9m pounds on Simon to keep him on the bench.

Pepe has good distribution skills, which could assist Liverpool since Brendan likes to play from the back. Simon is a relatively good keeper and needs time. Unfortunately, will it come at the expense of Liverpool's first title in 24 years ?

Jamie is a big lost too. His experience and ability.

At least your team isn't a team which is build by cash. I feel it ain't over yet.

Keep the believe.

Pierre.

And also before season start wat does the fans expect? A top 4 finish to get into CL next season i guess? To be honest does anyone really think pool will be fighting with MC for the title before the season start?

Some fans may say he get his tactics wrong, should play for a draw against chelsea or should def the 3 goal lead against CP! But dun forget BR is the guy who bring pool from last season 7th position to now 2nd i guess? So give him the credit that he has bring the team so far this season

Lastly well done liverpool for this great season that ur have achieve
You Sir, deserve a medal. This is what I call a true fan, even though you support Liverpool's fierce rival.

Jamie Carragher blasted our defensive backline, rightly so I think.

I feel tat we lack of a vocal leader like him at the back...

previously, either him or pepe will be shouting and barking instructions for whole match...

I'm not sure whether LS is worth this much..but some may think he is worth more..but has anyone realized LS currently only perform excellently in BPL only?

He has not even go into the CL with us to prove his worth yet ..against more tactical teams from different countries.

He should stay on for the moment, and help to build his resume with the CL with us, then decide whether he still wants to leave or not, by then he may just be worth that much.

Of course, Real has the ability to buy any players they want, it's really up to the player nowadays. You can sign today and say you never leave the club, but then 1 hour later you can just move o to another club amid a higher price of course with the new contract.
Contract are useless since years ago

LS is a good player, but not yet up there among the stars.
he didnt put enough goals past the current top 4.
he is like a star here, but he wouldnt get tat much attention at RM.
but if any1 cums in with a more than £80m, then Liverpool shld let him go.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

This morning one of the studio guests John Barnes commented that with Pool in a comfy 3 goal lead, BR could hv brought on Agger n/or Toure to protect the lead rather than bringing on Coutinho to chase for more goals.

I do not blame BR for his tactics. He knew he had to take a gamble cos catching up with MC in goal diff was probly the more realistic (tho near impossible) route to the title rather than expecting them to drop points at home.

To be fair the players should also shoulder part of the blame.

They were far too wasteful in front of goal. If u watched the match Pool could hv easily won 0-5 or better. And for a team fighting to be the best in England, the manner which we defended and let in 3 goals in a 9 minute spell was shocking n alarming!

What do U guys think? If you were BR would u play it safe like Barnes?

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

my heart sank when i woke up and saw the scoreline 3-3

nevertheless credits to BR and team for giving an exciting season since i don't know when. we just have to win the next match and let fate takes it's course for the table standings. for all you know MC could loose their last match and Pool win by single point! shit happens to everyone.

one more goal short of 100 goal tally for the 2013-14 season. well done reds. BR will come out a better manager next year.

in the past seasons, we were always having problem beating the "lesser" teams... I have no complaints if he scores all the goals against the bottom teams, as long as the rest can step up to score against the top teams...

so ideally is for us to sign another top attacker who always scores against top opponents....

31 goals in 37 games..who cares if he does not score against the top sides....he still gives them a hard time...suarez game is more than just scoring goals
