There are many many good reasons to learn some basic Vietnamese language.

1) You see a damn pretty viet babe, you ask her to sit with you. But you discovered that she only speaks vietnamese. Both cannot communicate and there is no chemistry and cnnot hold the communication. After a while, she also feel bored and start to give reason to collect tips early.

2) 2 viet babes sit with you and your friends. They start to talk amount themselve,probably plan to collect tips early from you, probably talk something that is not so good and laugh at you. You blur blur and still play along with them.

3) learning vietnamese language, you will be able to widen your choices of gals. It is also easier to 'xian' the girls.

Have to agree with you on this. However, I will not let the gal know that I know viet. In the event that they are bad mouthing me or my friends then we will know also.

For your point 1 I don't quite agree with you. Viet gals seldom operate alone, they will always be an old bird to bring the new birds ard and act as translator.

Just my 2 dong worth of thoughts

After reading some posting by strikeking and chicken_chickee, I think of 1 more reason why learn Vietnamese

4) you are able to 'xian' and befriend the girls due to language barrier, they treat you as customer. When you ask them to go for ST, the level of service do not match what you expected and you feel that you are short changed. You say Viet babe are lousy in service.

I have not encounter any lousy service from any viet babe as yet. Got few FR that the gals always cannot this, cannot that when in hotel. But when they go with me, they are very submissive and I get everything I wanted.

Agree with you on this. However, by telling them that you know viet signals to them that you have been in this field for long and they will be cautious of you. Depending on your objective la... if you are looking for a fuck with a beautiful face then this is good but if you looking for something more emotional and long term then I personally think it is better to act a bit ignorant or stupid. Say some simple viet and not the more chim ones. I used to have a viet gf who asked me how come u know viet and I only know the simple simple ones asking me if I have other viet gf etc etc? Lots of questions in her head. Have to spend some time to convince her.

Just sharing my little personal experience. Ignorance is bliss.

agree.. when they said that they know alittle bit. it is already alittle bit, like 1~3%

but i think if they have the chance to learn(someone is there to teach them) and they really willing to learn. They can pick up our language(at least 20~30%) in 1 mth time.

Last early Dec, i got a gal who is new and cannot speak eng or chinese.
Then i saw her again in mid Jan, she can speak some chinese. She got a older sis who teach her chinese. Talk to the older sis a few times, she said teach her younger sis until headache.. I believe some of the bros here knw them too..

Then after some time, saw the younger sis again.. This time she can really communicate with me.. but if i speak too fast or use some chim word.. she will abit confuse liao..

agree with you bro, my personal experience is that the vb usually think we want to learn tieng viet so that can sian other vb. They tend not to look at it from the angle that we want to communicate better with them only, especially those vb who can speak english or mandarin well. But it is these vb who speak good english or mandarin that can translate and teach tieng viet mah, haiz...Anyway, like what bro KangTuo advise, it is good to know more of their language. Got one time I was sitting at coffeeshop and this chio syt vb sitting next table. She looked like very gentle and classy (at least I thought so) sitting quietly there. But when her frens came, OMG I can hear her spout DU MA here, DU MA there Hehe, my impression of her immediately dived 50%

my girlfriend know little bit of chinese and i managed to convince her that i learn tieng viet is to have a better communication with her. Anyway it is truely to communicate with that is why i learn tieng viet. But somehow after learning, I also go out to hook up viet babes.

Some viet gals think that guys who know tieng viet will xao nhieu nhieu or got viet galfriend liao. But I am not afraid to speak tieng viet with the viet gals. After talking to them a few times, they will feel at ease. I also got ways to convince them why i can speak.

If any gal always telk with DU Ma here and there, I totally drop her rating to 0% liao and will not hook them. If she so amn beautiful, probably just pay her to go hotel.

They will think that u have a VIET WIFE liao not gf..... They asked me why i know how to speak, I say I learned from school/internet. Next I will ask where she is from. After that I will guess her district/county.... I will cite some famous things/food/fruits from their provinces..... Then they are impressed I tell them knowing the language not just must know how to speak, write, and read, also must know the culture and tradition of the country.....

However I still don't understand how they make it to sgp without knowing a single word of English.
